Unsaid Feelings (Poetry Collection)

Stars

Lying on the grass
side by side
you pointed at the brightest star
saying

"Look how bright that star is"

I looked at it
Amazed
and you added

"Look how it lighten up the night sky, without it, this place would be pitch black"

I nodded.
Agreeing to every word you say
and then
you turned to me
watching
and I felt your hand
tracing every detail of my face
Suddenly,
you smiled.
I smiled back.
you called my name,
softly.
As soft as the cotton
pushed unto my skin
and said,

"You are my star"

you gave me a kiss
and continued,

"The one who brightened my lonely world"

"Without you, I am nothing. My world would be empty"

You hugged me tightly
so I hugged you back
We can hear each other's heartbeat
The way it harmonize at every beat
our breathing
It is as if we were gasping for air

I replied.

"You're my star, my world, my everything"

you closed your eyes
I closed mine.
You called my name again
still with your eyes closed

"Hmm?" I answered.

"I love you"

I can't help but smile and then we both fell asleep.
