Didn't you say we'd heal together?
Yet you interchanged heal with hurt.
Didn't you say we'd closed our wounds,
but you stretched it even further
You could have said "we'd hurt together"
at least we are aware;
and it would not be hard to bear.
Like what we are now,
pretending to be as happy as we were.
