Kookie: Good morning, I'm sorry about last night. I lost track of time. I hope you aren't too tired?

You wearily pried open your eyes as you heard the now familiar buzzing of your phone going off, alerting you of a text. It had actually been a week since you had even seen Jungkook, but after the exchange of numbers you had been conversing regularly.

The night before, the two of you had stayed up really late texting, making you sleep in and not wake up until noon when the boy texted you the good morning message. It was all still sort of foreign to you, doing all the things that normal people do like talking to friends. At first you hadn't known exactly what to do about the new contact sitting in your phone or if you should even do anything at all, but after a quick 'how are you?' turned into hours of conversing, you found yourself loving and looking forward to talk to the boy on the other line.

Jungkook worked very hard when he was texting you. In order to confirm translations and adequately prepare responses, he was flipping though books and using many internet sites to aid him. As he texted you more however, he found himself needing them a little less. This made him ecstatic due to the fact that at times he fell into despair and thought his English would never get better.

You smiled and sat up at his good morning text, only thinking for a moment before hovering your fingers over the keyboard to prepare a response.

You: It's just as much my fault as yours, don't worry about it :) And I got to sleep in so it's all good!

Jungkook was biting his lower lip in worry as he awaited your response and ran his hand through his hair that had became messy from his sleep. When it came through he excitedly peered at it a moment. Unfortunately his just woken up state was not able to translate as fast, so with a sigh he pulled up a translation website.

When he finally configured the meaning of your text he breathed out in relief that you weren't mad at his exuberance to message you into late hours of the night.

He stretched and practically rolled out of bed; accidentally taking his blanket with him. He wasn't very surprised when he got downstairs to the kitchen that no one seemed to be awake yet.

Looking around in the pantry and fridge, Jungkook sighed when he saw the small amount of food. His diet had been limited to cereal and sandwiches, but unfortunately now there wasn't any milk either. Nibbling on his now swollen bottom lip once more, he wondered if his guardians would mind if he went to the store. He knew they liked sending him on errands anyway, so maybe it would be of help to them?

It was at that moment that his 'dad' walked in lazily, the elder man stretching his back after waking up so late. Jungkook looked down shyly and pretended that he wasn't looking at the practically empty pantry and fridge.

"Good morning," He hummed in his rough voice, passing Jungkook and patting him on the head. He really liked the family he was staying with because they treated him like their own son.

"Good morning,"Jungkook replied simply, taking his seat and peering out the window as if board, secretly looking out of the corner of his eye to see if the man noticed the lack of food.

His elder guardian sleepily opened the door to the fridge and looked at it as if confused by it's emptiness.

"Say, have you eaten breakfast or lunch yet?" He asked him, rubbing his chin.

"No." Jungkook replied, "No food."

"Hmm. That's a problem, isn't it?"

As his dad stood there pondering the situation, Jungkook saw this as an opportunity to speak up and voice is idea.
