"You kissed my girlfriend," Jungkook spoke simply, Vince whirling around at the sound of his voice, frightened at first due to the fact that he thought he was alone in the school halls. Upon seeing Jungkook's form and registering his words, the fearful look on his face only intensified.

"J-Jungkook," he stammered, taking a step back. His head throbbed in remembrance of what it felt like to be kicked in the head by Jeon Jungkook; blackbelt and star soccer player. Vince had heard word that he and (Y/N) were now dating, and the knowledge made him slightly fearful.

Jungkook stepped closer, his face emotionless.

"Look, I'm sorry. I don't know if you know the context... and I know I should have done something, I just-" Vince seemed at a loss for words. He was fully in the wrong. Everyday he beat himself up for everything that had happened and how lost he felt. He deserved to be kicked by Jungkook. The pain wouldn't  be as bad as the mental scars May continued to leave on him.

The truth was, Vince had experienced years of pursuing the one he loved. Even though he was in a relationship with her, he still had to pursue her. He didn't know what else to do. Anything to keep her, even the bizarre request to kiss another girl. She was all he had.

He had hit an all time low that night, and everything came crumbling down. He drank with Jungkook, who also seemed to be at a low. But back then, Jungkook didn't know that he was partially to blame for what had happened and was now very much sober.

"Actually Jungkook," Vince finally spoke in defeat, "I really don't have an excuse. I deserve whatever you're about to do to me, so just do it."

To Vince's surprise, Jungkook just tilted his head a bit and narrowed his eyes in confusion.

"No," He spoke, shaking his head, "No kicking. I just wanted to... say bye."

Vince's  eyes widened in surprise. Jungkook no longer looked threatening but rather sympathetic.

"You are sad," Jungkook pointed out simply, "and I am sorry about that. You should not keep going after things that make you sad. May is gone for two weeks, so now you can look for things that make you happy that are different." Jungkook thought for a moment, "But not alcohol," He swiftly pointed out.

Vince continued to stare in astonishment at what he used to consider his greatest enemy.

"I... that's pretty good advice for someone that could barely speak English a year ago, I guess I should listen to it. I'll try, at least. I think you can tell how hard it will be though."

Jungkook nodded.

"Again, I am sorry. But you are strong."

Slowly, Vince broke out into a smile.

"Maybe I should get into Taekwondo, I'll never forget the day you kicked me."

Jungkook beamed.

"Roundhouse."

"Yeah," Vince looked down for a moment before looking back up. "So it's true then? You said you're here to say bye. You're going back to Korea this summer."

There was a moment of silence before Jungkook answered.

"Yes." There was more slight hesitation before he continued to speak. "I won't be here and... well, I think (Y/N) is OK. She has Sam and Emily. But if she is ever not... OK I mean... if anyone tries to hurt her again... I need someone to be there. I was wanting you to be there."
