Chapter 3

"Um......will you be my girlfriend?" He asked nervously. I was shocked I didn't know what to say but I finally came to my decision.

"Jay..you know how my parents feel about me dating."

"But I talked to them and asked for their permission and they said yes." he said

"Aww, you really did that?"I asked

"Yes, I did...so what do you say, will you be my girlfriend?" He asked

"Yes I will." I said and he got up grabbed my hand and pulled me into a tight hug. The rest of the night we just talked and before he left we went to tell my parents that we were officially dating. They were happy because they knew he was a nice guy and that he made me happy.

*3 months later*

It is now December and we have a week left of school before Christmas break which I'm very excited for. I'm currently in my last class of the day, history and were working on our reviews for exam which we are going to take the week after we get back from break. I'm honestly not even working on anything since the teacher said to work on what we can. After class ended I went to where most of my friends were going to meet up after school today. When I got there Jay, Kylie, Pam, and Madison were there waiting for me.

"Hey guys." I said as I went up to them and gave all of them a hug.

"Hey" they all said in unison.

"So are we still going downtown?" I asked

"Yes, Jen and Sarah said they would text us when they get there later." Madison said. Madison is 5ft, she has dark brown hair, she's tan, and has brown eyes.

"Alright sounds good." I said. We all started walking downtown since it wasn't that far from the school.

If you guys are wondering Jay and I we broke up like 5 weeks ago, it was a mutual break up it was just that we acted more like friends than actually a couple so we just went back to being friends. It's not awkward since we were both okay with breaking up.

After bout ten minutes of walking we finally got downtown. We walked around for a while taking pictures and trying to enjoy the weather even tho it was super cold, .this unknown number kept calling me but I kept it ignoring it until they finally stopped trying. When Jen and Sarah finally got there we went to eat at subway. After we ate we walked around and took more pictures and around 8pm my parents called me that they wanted me home so I said bye to everyone and started walking home even though it was freezing.

When I got home I went straight to my room to leave my things and change into something more cozy. When I finished I went to say hi to Jenny and see how she what she was doing, then I finally went to go look for my parents who were in their room getting ready for bed. I walked in and said

"Hey, I'm home."

"Hi, how was it?" My mom asked

"It was cold but fun." I said

My dad then came out of the bathroom and said

"Should we tell her now or wait?"

"I think we should wait." My mom said

"What are you guys talking about?" I asked

"We'll, was their this number that kept calling and calling?" My dad asked

"Yea it got annoying but they finally stopped I thought it was advertising so I didn't answer." I said they stayed quiet for a while and my mom then said

"We'll you still got homework to do and you have to go to sleep since you have school tomorrow."

"Okay? Goodnight I guess." I said

Before I was fully out the door my dad said

"Okay I'm sorry I can't take this, I have to tell her."

"Tell me what?" I asked

My dad looked at my mom and she gave him a glare that said 'you better not say anything!' And then said

"Nothing honey! You can go to bed now."

"Come on just tell me I know you guys are hiding something my dad's face says it all!" I said

"Alright fine, we were going to wait until tomorrow and invite your friends but I guess we can tell you now. Thanks a lot Andrew!" She said. Andrew is my dads name by the way.

"I'm sorry geez I'm not good with secrets you should know that by now!" My dad said

"Okay so what's the big secret?" I asked while I ran and jumped on my parents bed and sat down with my legs crossed. And my mom started to explain

"So there is this guy Mark the one that kept calling you. We aren't sure how he got out numbers so it was kinda creepy that he kept calling us non-stop. So we finally decided to answer and he explained to us why he was trying so hard to get in contact with us." She stopped and just looked at me me being the impatient person I am said

"Okay and what did he want?!"

"He said he wanted to talk to you and us about signing you." My dad said. I was confused, me being the slow person I can be sometimes asked

"Sign me? What? I'm so confused! Explain more draw me a picture if you need to." I laughed at the end because my dad tells me that when I don't get stuff.

"Yea sign you. As in be your manager."She said while looking at my facial expression to see if I understood which I still didn't so she explained further "Because he saw your covers on YouTube and thought you had and amazing voice and that you could be someone bug in the music industry! So he wants to fly you out to LA so you can meet and he will explain further." She said. Both my parents were looking at me and I was just so surprised, shocked, and excited I stayed like that for what seemed like 15 minutes until I finally got up and said

"OMG! SOMEONE WANTS TO SIGN ME! AAAAAHHH!! I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS ARE YOU GUYS SERIOUS?!?" I yelled out of excitement to my parents.

"Yes honey we are serious! It's just up to you to decide wether you want to go to LA or not." My mom said

"But before you make any decisions sleep on it and let us know tomorrow or by Saturday so you got 3 days to figure it out." My dad said right after.

"Okay! I will thank you guys so much!!" I said to them while I ran and jumped on the bed again to hug them both. After I finished I went to my room and laid down on my bed to think of what I want to do but not before Jenny went to my room to ask what was all the yelling about and I explained it to her and she was excited for me as we'll. After she left I had a lot of thinking to do.
