*Next day*
I woke up to my alarm clock going off I groaned and pressed the dismiss button on my phone, before getting up I thought about what i wanted to wear and stretched out. I got up and went to my closet and got out my black skinny jeans, my light grey long sleeve shirt, my red scarf, and my red vans. I put my close on, since in the winter I like to shower at night so I don't go out of the house with wet hair in the morning and then end up sick, I then went to my dresser where my make up was and put on sparkly silver eye shadow, black eyeliner, mascara, and red lipstick then I curled my hair. After I finished my make up and hair I got my nail polish remover and my red nail polish. I bet you're thinking 'how does she have time to do her nails in the morning?' We'll I wake up an hour and a half early and I always have spare time to do anything. I had gone to get my nails done with my mom not to long ago, I got the acrylic kind and I had gotten them painted black but I got tired of the color. So I painted my nails again and then went to the kitchen to eat breakfast which my dad was gladly making for me
"Morning dad!" I said as I sat down at the table.
"Morning honey, how did you sleep?" He said
"Good how bout you?"
"I slept we'll. so did you come up with a decision?" He asked
"No not yet. I think I want to talk to my friends and see what they say." I said
"We'll just be sure that they aren't the ones to make your decision." He said while handing me my plate of pancakes with eggs and bacon.
"I know. Thank you." I said and then he left to go wake up my sister and get ready to take us to school. When I finished I went to my room and got my backpack, jacket, and phone. I went back out and waited in the living room for my sister and dad.
*on the ride to school*
Last night I thought about my options A LOT I still haven't made a decision. I decided I would tell my friends and ask for their opinion on it but I first wanted to talk to this Mark guy and ask him some questions.
"Hey dad?" I said
"What's up?"
"Do you think that Mark guy would mind if I called and asked a few questions?" I asked
"I don't think so I mean he told us to call if we had any questions so I think you should." He said
"Yea I will. I'll call when I get to school." I said
We finally made it to my school and I still had 30 minutes before class so I decided to call Mark.
So I sat down on a bench I dialed Mark's number and after four rings he answered
(M-Mark, L-Leah)
M- "Hello"
L- "Hello Mark, this is Leah Ramirez."
M- "Leah! Hello how are you?"
L- "I'm good, how are you?"
M- "I'm good too. So if I'm not wrong your parents told you?"
L- "Yeah, that's what I wanted to talk about because I had some questions."
M- "Alright what are they?"
L- "We'll can you explain the trip to me?"
M- "Yea. So basically I want to fly you and one of your parents out to California full expenses paid. Then you'll come down to my office and we will talk about signing to my management and then eventually get you signed to a record deal but it won't happen from one day to another it can take up to a year or two or more but we can still have concerts, interviews, and pretty much anything in between."
L- "Okay if I go to LA what will I do when I'm over there?"
M- "I'll show you around, take you to the studio, behind the scenes of a concert and how they get prepared, possibly take you to a photo shoot, and just show you what artist do. And then at the end you'll be able to make your mind up, if you like it and are willing to give up your 'normal' life I sign you but if you don't want to then you go back home and act like we never even met."
L- "So there are no string attached if I go?"
M- "No it will be like a vacation for you and your mom or dad."
L- "Alright then thank you."
M- "No problem let me know what your decision is by Saturday or earlier."
L- "I will thanks bye."
M- "No problem bye."
I hung up then made my way inside the school to where my friends and I usually meet. When I got there only Jay, Sarah, Jen, and Pam were there
(J- Jay, S- Sarah, JN- Jen, P- Pam And L- Leah)
L- "So where are Kylie, Jackie, and Madison?"
S- "They had to go talk to some teachers."
L- "So I have to tell you guys something but I will wait until lunch to tell everyone at the table."
J- "Um..can you tell me because I'm going out to lunch with someone."
L- "I'll tell you after school then. But who are you going out with?"
P- "Yeah who are you going out with?"
Jay didn't answer us
JN- "Wait! I know who!"
J- "Jen don't."
S- "Yes Jen tell us!"
JN- "It's that new girl that only speaks Spanish!"
L- "Wait Maria the tall one, that's light skinned?"
J- "...."
L- "The one that got in between us and was like 'ay' when I was going to "punch you"?"
J- "Yeah that's her"
L- "Oh...we'll I'm going to get to class. I'll talk to you guys during lunch, bye!"
I got up and started speed walking to class. I couldn't believe he was going to go out to lunch with her, I know we broke up but she's always getting in between our friendship and always all up on him and flirting. Yes I know I'm jealous but just because we didn't work out as an actual couple doesn't mean that those feelings I have for him are gone.
