Chapter 11: Let's Begin

Y/n pov

I was up early than the others. I was in my classroom with Owen beside me looking over at the copies of the transcripts I made. I was looking over them and went to the next transcript, my sisters' transcript

Y/n: I know the transcript said she had two semblances, meaning if she used her scream, then she must have a ghost, but what kind?

I heard the doors open and saw Shay walk towards me

Y/n: Hey, what are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be with your mom?

Shay: It's fine, she usually lets me come here early so I could prepare to help her with grading

Y/n: Alright then...

Shay: Also, I got some news...

Shay pulled out his scroll and showed it to Y/n

Y/n: What's this?

Shay: Read it

Y/n: Two days ago a high speed gun chase involving hostile soldiers and what appeared to be two teenage boys. One eye witness says that he saw the two teens as they were held at gunpoint, a few minutes after he saw white smoke appear and the boys drove off to the nearby Bullhead station. Another witness took a photo of said boys and soldiers. The police are still investigating the crime scene, but if you see any of these people in the following picture please report immediately

Y/n scrolled down to look at the picture and saw the two boys and what appeared to be a woman aiming at them with her gun. Y/n looked closely and started to realize who the boys were

Y/n: Is that...Cayde and Grey?

Shay: Yeah, I don't know what got them into that situation, but I know that it must be some serious shit

Y/n: Hmm, it is possible, Grey always wanted to leave his tribe, maybe he did. Cayde however...

Shay: You know how much he loved his mom, he wouldn't be there unless something happened to her, otherwise he would've let Grey stay with him

Y/n: Hmm, Bullhead station huh?

Shay: Yeah, I can only think that they would be looking for us

Y/n: Well...let's just hope they weren't followed

Shay: Well, what do you wanna do now?

*Flashback*

I was walking with my new found friend Shay around the woods walking back to his campsite to find his family

Y/n: Are you sure we're going the right way?

We walked upon his campsite, it was torn to shreds. His tent was ripped, food was littered everywhere, and there was some blood too
