Elsy's pov

"Hey." Amanda walked into my room.

"Hey." I look at her through my vanity mirror.

I was too busy doing my eyebrows. I didnt feel like looking at her.

"Can we talk?" She asks as she sat on the edge of my bed.

"Whats up?" I glance at her then go back to doing my makeup.

"Look. Im sorry for taking Oscar away. Im genuinely so fucked up for that. Its just... ive always liked him. Way before you guys met." She sighed.

"Okay and i get that. But why did you barely make a move? You all of a sudden decided to talk to him once you found out we were talking." I say as i clean up the brows with concealer.

"I dont know." She frowned.

"Whatever its all good. Its not like we had anything serious." I laughed.

"So do you hate me?" She questioned.

"Of course not. We are still friends." I smile.

"Elsy! Wheres my food?" Vincent yelled as i finished serving a customer.

I playfully rolled my eyes at him as i went to get the food.

I watched as Elsy came to our table.

We locked eyed for a good 2.4 seconds. Other than that she didnt look at me again.

"Heres your guys food." She smiled as she handed me my food before walking away.

She surprisingly looked happy.

"Hello welcome in!" I heard her greet a family walking into the taqueria.

Was it all in act?

"Damn homie she looks hella over you." Martín laughed.

"Not much to get over." Sad eyes laughed.

"True. What? Yall just fucked a few times. Not much sentimental moments." Vincent laughed.

That was a lie.

We had a lot of sentimental moments.

Our unofficial relationship was a lot more than just sex.

We had love.

Pure love.

Im not gonna lie i miss her.

I didn't think i would. But i do.

I didnt realize how much i liked her.

But i really did.

"Is there anything else you guys need?" Amanda came over to our table.

"No we good." I smiled at Amanda as she sat on my lap.

I looked over to see Elsy wiping down the tables.

She looked at me with a genuine fucking smile.

Fuck im a little bitch.

But it seems to me like shes over me.

"How dare that puta take Spooky away from you." Javier growled as he helped me clean the outside tables.

"Its fine." I laugh as i lean against the counter.

"So we need to stock up on supplies." I say as i write down a list of everything we were running low on.

"Stop changing the subject fat head." Javier said as he took the pen away.

"Javier!" I laugh. "My head aint fat."

"So what are we gonna do?" He questions.

"Do about what?" I look at him confused.

"How we gonna get you and Oscar back together?" He playfully smacked my head.

"Okay that hurt." I glared at him. "And to clarify... we never dated."

"Yeah cause the other fat head took him away. And if you ask me... that shit is fake as fuck." Javier glared at Amanda. "I might have to fire her. Misconduct."

"Javier." I nudge him. "Be nice. I dont want to start drama."

"Why are you so nice for? You should be the angriest bitch alive." Javier huffed.

"Honestly. Im kinda used to it so." I shrug. "Not the first time she took a guy i talked to." I say as i serve myself some horchata.

"So why do you let her? Put your foot down." Javier smiled.

"I dont really care. I met another guy." I smirk as i get a text from Dante.

"Well bitch you gonna show me?" Javier got all excited.

"Are you guys a thing?" Javier smirked. "He's hot."

"We were a thing. I dont really know what we have going on anymore because we decided not to be in a committed relationship since hes gonna be gone for a year." I pouted.

"Are you gonna wait?" He smirked as he watched Oscar walk up to us.
