if one thing's for sure, finding out where your character fits in with the delinquents is tough. here is a list of ideas for roles for them!

1. the medic. although clarke's mother was one of the most advanced and top-notch doctors, some of the other delinquents must have had parents who were nurses or low-level medical staff. that, or they could have been in med training prior to being arrested!

2. the gunner. one of the jobs in the dropship camp was guarding the exterior and interior. these characters were usually fairly good marks and could handle a gun well (hence the name). most of the survivors got promoted to the guard in season 2/3.

3. the advisor. maybe they aren't a co-leader like bellamy or clarke, but offer advice like a royal would have. it could be things like how morale is, what's working with their system and what's not, ideas on how to fix things, etc.

4. the cook. someone has to prepare the meals or stuff ration bags!

5. the planner/decorator. i think it would have been really cool to see someone sprucing up the camp or building the tunnels that lead to the outside! maybe they make sure that the camp is always well-lit, the bonfires are always going, and that everyone has a place to sleep.

6. the blacksmith. the delinquents had plenty of handmade weapons aside from rifles and handguns. maybe your character could help craft them!

7. the assistant/second-in/command. similar to an advisor, but they basically make sure everything runs smoothly when bellamy and/or clarke are busy. they could be in charge of who's doing what or making sure everyone is occupied with a job.

8. the architect. they could be the primary builder of their fence/wall, the meat house, and other man-made huts/small buildings/etc.

9. the distributor. someone has to keep track of who has what in the camp! this person could ensure that nobody is taking extra rations or hoarding tons of blankets in their tent while others have nothing.

10. the washer. it sucks, but i think the delinquents must have had some sort of laundry system.

11. the cleaner. this person could keep the dropship organized, prevent clutter from littering the ground, and just generally keeping the place looking nice (but doing more dirty work than the planner/decorator)

12. the diener. yikes. again, someone has to deal with the dead bodies. they could be the ones to bury them, get their clothes/weapons/resources, etc, and keep track of those they've lost.

13. the engineer/mechanic. monty and raven can't do all that stuff themselves. it would help to have someone experienced with technology to assist them— plus, their storylines with their jobs are often ignored in favor of clarke & bellamy's leadership scenes.

hopefully that gave you some ideas! i know it took me a while to fulfill this request, and for that, i am incredibly sorry. i've just been super busy with classes and i wanted to focus more on updating my actual books!
