Her curiosity got the best of her.

And behold,

She creaked the box open.

A swirling screech rose all around her.

The trapped spirits shoved out of the box,

"All right, guys." Pedro sat on one of the fallen logs that surrounded the campfire. He placed his elbows lazily on his knees and equally took a glance at us.

His eyes rested on me for about two seconds before continuing. "I'll give you an awesome story. It could be half true, depending on what you want to believe."

"This better be interesting," Zion whispered in my ear and gave a long glance at him.

The sea was only a few feet away as our group sat on the beach with some rested logs. The night was cold and chilly, but the fire made the temperature just right.

Zion and I sat on the sand with our arms relaxed on the fallen wood. The others sat on the felled trees provided like normal human beings.

"This story won't be interesting much," Helena said nonchalantly as she sat beside Zion with a bored expression and a pouty lip.

After having a good glance at Zion's sitting position, she lazily slid to the ground and shifted next to him.

She lightly touched his arm. "Don't you think so, Zee?"

Zion whipped his head towards her like he had just realized her presence. "...uh--"

"Don't interrupt my story, brother." Pedro was now on his bare feet as he rolled up his white sleeves to his elbows. "This story needs all the attention it can get. You should keep all conversations away from your girlfriend for a little change."
