Encouragement. Something that everyone needs once and awhile. We never ask for it but we always need it.
We had all just gotten off the stage after we preformed 'magic shop' and it was now time for hoseok's solo stage, he would be preforming 'trivia 起: just dance' after the video was done playing for the army.
I noticed hoseok seemed off. He looked deep in thought. My first thought was, "maybe he's just thinking about preforming". But I seen a hint of nervousness and sadness flash in his brown eyes.
The stylist unnie had went to get a product for his makeup when I decided it was a good time to confront him.
"Hoseokie oppa, are you okay?" I asked while rubbing his shoulder in a comforting manner.
"Huh? Oh, yea, I'm fine."
"Oppa, what's going on? You seem nervous?" I asked doubting myself. Maybe he truly was okay?
"I'm just nervous. What if I mess up? All the army have paid so much money to see us...what if I don't live up to their expectations today?" Tears seem to fill his eyes.
"Oppa, I want you to listen closely." I walk to his side and turn his chair facing me.
"You, are one of the greatest dancers I've ever met. Ask anyone in this arena and they'll all agree. Talent flows through your veins like no other. You've worked hard to get where you are today. Do you think you would've been here if you didn't have enough talent to make a whole crowd of people scream your name? You're enough." I remained eye contact until he pulls me into a bone crushing hug.
"You're absolutely right. Thank you so much baby"
I smiled and pulled away letting the now returned stylist get back to work.
His famous smile had now returned to his face and he was as happy as ever.
'There's my sunshine." I thought.
"You did good, hun" a new voice startles me.
I turn to see namjoon smiling as he sits next to me on the couch backstage.
"He deserved to hear it. He always makes us happy when we're down. He deserves it in return." I smiled as namjoon wrapped an arm around me. The rest of the boys gathered in the room and we fooled around.
Hoseok went on stage and we watched him take over. He absolutely killed it. Army cheering his name in all directions.
'Y/n was right. I am talented.' Hoseok thought as he took out the ear piece to hear the screams of his name.

I'm truly sorry that I haven't been posting as much as I should. There's so much going on in today's world and I just want to take a second to say this:
I hope everyone is safe and healthy. Although this virus isn't the best situation, we all have to stick together and hope for the best.
