"Looks like you're still stuck with me," Ally said, as we walked out of the cabin into the cool air of the morning.

I glanced at her. Ally was pretty much incapable of any negative feelings, but I could sense a bit of jealousy from her. "You're going to be the one who's not going to be stuck with me soon," I replied.

"What?"

"Your parent is going to claim you soon, and then you'll move into your cabin," I said.

Ally frowned, a shadow crossing her face. "How can you be so sure?"

I smirked. "Ah, after last night's events? Of course, you'll get claimed."

I could tell Ally didn't believe me, but she nodded anyway. "Whatever the case, we'll stick together. Different cabins won't stop that."

We stopped at the stables.

"Wait here," I told Ally. "Don't come inside yet."

She shot me a 'what are you up to' look.

I smiled. "Just wait."

I headed into the stables. Blackfire wasn't here, though I honestly wasn't expecting him to stay in the stables. Avalanche was in the woods somewhere, likely hunting rabbits.

I walked to the back of the stables and stopped in front of a beautiful white pegasus. I stroked her nose softly. "Come on. Ally's waiting for you."

The pegasus looked at me with soft brown eyes and dipped her elegant head, her soft white ears twitching. I smiled, opened her door, and guided her out to where Ally was waiting.

"Ally!" I called.

She spun around. "Hey, Ri. You made me wait for-" She abruptly stopped talking as she beheld the pegasus behind me. "Who's that?"

I grinned. "She's yours."

Ally gaped at me. "You're serious?"

The pegasus nickered and trotted up to Ally. She sniffed her and nudged her with her nose.

"Yep," I said. "I said I'd get you a pegasus, didn't I?"

Ally stroked her pegasus, joy lighting up her features. "I thought you were joking." She hugged her pegasus neck, her face pressed into her soft white mane.

She let go and tackled me in a hug. "Thank you."

I hugged her back. "Your welcome. So," I continued, extracting myself, "What are you going to name her?"

Ally hummed thoughtfully, back to stroking her pegasus' mane. "What's greek for fairy?"

"Neraida," I replied.

"Neraida it is," Ally said. Her pegasus whinnied and bobbed her head.

"Looks like she agrees with you," I said. Of course, at that moment, Blackfire swooped down, landing beside me.

"Bostress!" Blackfire nickered. "You didn't tell me that the pegasus you were getting was a hot one!"

I sighed as he pranced up to Neraida and sniffed her. She nudged him back. Blackfire flapped his wings and tossed his head.

Neraida whinnied and glanced at Ally.

"She wants your permission to fly with him," I translated, amused.

"What? Oh, oh, of course," Ally replied. "You can go."

Blackfire launched himself into the sky, Neraida following.

I laughed. "My pegasus is sometimes really enthusiastic."

Ally grinned. "That's not an issue. Black and white. Somewhat poetic, don't you think?"
