They gave their bags to the flight attendants, who then instructed them to board the plane. The rest of the team was already inside, lounging in a comfortable seating area.

"Have a seat anywhere," JJ offered the girl. "I'm gonna go over some files before we start discussing again."

Francesca immediately noticed a seat open next to Spencer. He sat across from Derek, and they both seemed to be delving into work. JJ found a spot next to Aaron, who started conversing with her right away. She wanted to justify her urge to sit with Spencer, so she convinced herself she didn't want to bother her friend.

"Mind if I sit here?" Francesca confidently asked the boy, who scrambled to put away his papers when he saw who stood above him.

"Of course not," Spencer scooted closer to the window. "Go for it."

As Francesca sat down, Derek pointed his pen at Spencer. "You really are something, pretty boy."

Francesca tried to hold in her giggles, for she really resonated with Derek's humor. He never failed to call out Spencer for being awkward, and it was a sight to see.

"Pretty boy?" she jokingly gasped, Spencer sinking in his seat. "You some sort of player?"

"Oh, you didn't know?" Derek bantered. "Reid is a notorious ladies man."

Spencer's face turned a beat red as the two kept the joke going. "Probably a literal heartbreaker," Francesca added.

"Absolute lady killer, and not the criminal kind."

"Okay, you guys can stop now," Spencer piped up, Francesca and Derek in a laughing fit. "Very funny."

"I knew you and I would get along," Derek smirked, reaching his hand out to give Francesca a fist bump. She did as he implied, grinning in return.

"Great. The last thing I need is another person to make fun of me," Spencer groaned.

Francesca put a hand on his shoulder, and she could feel him tense up. "Lucky for you, you've only got a few days of me. Let me have my fun."

"Yeah, Reid," Derek agreed. "You can handle another me, can't ya? Just for a bit?"

"I can barely handle you, Morgan."

Soon, the rest of the team started to congregate near Derek, Francesca, and Spencer. "Reid, where are you with the geographical profile?" Aaron questioned, now standing in the aisle.
