THE FEVER TALKING

GUILLERMOS POV

When Lucifer ran with Selena in his arms to the house, we all followed him as he ran up the stairs and in to a room that had a king size bed in the center of the room. In front of the room was a crib, changing table, a swing and other baby items which made a tear fall down my face as I imagined that all this was bought for our baby and it was never going to be used. Lucifer placed Selena on the bed and right away Wendy and Maggie started to try and stop the bleeding and hook the IV in to Selena's arm, when they finally where able to control the bleeding they both started to stitch up the wound on her arm before rapping a bandage around it to keep the wound clean. I walked closer to Selena only to stop when Sebastian growled at me, I looked at him as he was throwing daggers with his eyes and before I could say anything Selena started to talk while she had her eyes closed.

"My baby, my baby" Selena repeated over and over again

"She is running a fever" Maggie said as she felt Selena's forehead

"Don't let him near my baby, he will take him away from me" Selena said

"Go get some warm water and a clean cloth Chance" Wendy said

"Don't let him take my baby" Selena said as she started to thrash around while Sebastian, Lucifer and my father tried to keep her from moving so she wouldn't hurt herself

"Sebastian go get Susy, she knows how to calm her down when she is like this" Wendy said

Sebastian got off the bed and Victor got in his place, while Sebastian was out getting Susy we all were trying to hold Selena down on the bed but she was really strong and we were having problems holding her down. Sebastian and Susy walked in a few minutes later and I could smell baby powder on her clothing which only made me feel worse since I would never be able to do anything that Sebastian and Susy were doing now that she had had his son, Victor got off the bed and allowed Susy to get in his place.

"It's okay Sel, I'm here now" Susy said as she pulled Selena in to her arms and placed Selena's head on her chest

"He is going to take him away from me" Selena said

"No Sel, no one is taking anything from you" Susy said as she passed her hands through Selena hair and slowly but surely Selena started to calm down until she was fast asleep and laying on Susy's lap

Sebastian asked for some drinks and food to be brought up to us, we all wanted to stay here and make sure that Selena's fever would break or else we wouldn't be able to stop worring.

"What was she talking about when she was saying all those things" I asked

"It's the fever talking" Wendy said

"Besides she was talking about the baby she lost, she always says that when she gets a fever" Susy said from the bed

"What about all these baby items, why are they here" I asked

"When she was in the hospital in your pack lands she ordered everything you see here" Sebastian said

"Why is it still here" Silvano asked

"She hasn't let us take anything out" Wendy said

"Isn't this causing her to be depressed" Andreano asked

"Well yes but we know that if we take this out of here it will make her even more depressed and even do something stupid" Victor said

We staid in the room watching Selena as we held some conversation until we started to hear a baby cry, Sebastian looked at Susy before walking up to her and taking her placing holding Selena.

"I will be right back my son needs me" Susy said as she walked out of the room

I looked at my father and I saw the sad look that he was giving me, I knew that he could see the sadness in my eyes as soon as we all heard the baby cry. I couldn't stop thinking of how my baby's crys would sound like, if he/she would look like me or Selena. Would he/she have her beautiful color eyes or would they be like me, so many things passed by my mind that I didn't notice when Susy walked in once again holding her son in her arm. Sebastian got up and took the baby in his arms as he allowed Susy to sit down where she was before she left and then handed her the baby, when Susy had the baby in her arms Selena turned her head towards the baby and smelled it before trying to cuddle next to Susy which would allow her to smell the babies scent even more.

"I don't think that is a safe move" Lazaro said

"And why is that" Sebastian asked

"Well because she lost her baby and your placing another one near her greaving wolf" Lazaro said

"And who's fault is that" Susy said as she turned to look at me

"I didn't know she was pregnant" I said

"Yet you knew she was your mate and you still mated with this packs slut" Wendy said

"And sent her to the hospital because of that, even though Selena and the baby where okay when they left the hospital the moment when you said that you picked Stephanie over her, it broke her and that was what made her start bleeding while we were heading home which resulted in her losing the baby. She doesn't want to live any more, that's why she fought Junior she wanted to stop her agony. Stop feeling the loss of her son, the son she never got to hold in her arms and its all thanx to you" Sebastian said with so much anger in each and every single word that came out of his mouth

My father got up and placed a hand on my shoulder before walking over to Sebastian who was standing close to Susy and the baby, when he stood in front of him he asked their permision to give a kiss to the our new majesty which Susy nodded a yes. Sebastian took the baby from Susy and my father leaned in whispering something to the baby before placing a kiss on his forehead, he walked back to where we were sitting and said that we were heading back to our lands and if they needed anything just to call them and we would be here right away. I didn't want to leave, I wanted to stay here until Selena's fever broke and made sure that she was going to be okay but my father pulled me with him out the door of Selena's room and out the front door where our fighters were waiting for us to head back to our lands.
