💀2 Days Later, Sunday 💀

I yawned as I slowly opened my eyes.

"Ah! What the heck Rem!"

I jumped, surprised when I saw Rem hovering over me. It looked like they were watching me sleep.

"Oh? Did I startle you? Sorry, you just look appealing when your sleeping."

"What? Never mind.. What time is it?"

Rem backed away and looked at the clock on my desk.

"It's 9:00 am."

I sprung out of my bed.

"What?! Why didn't my alarm go off?! I'm gonna be late again!!"

"No your not!" I heard Light's voice from the hall.

I walked out of my room to find Light in the kitchen.

"It's Sunday, you can relax."

I sighed in relief.

"What do you say to helping me make breakfast? We never did get to cook together back at my mom's place."

"Your right! I call making the bacon!" I yelled excitedly.

I started getting things out when I felt eyes on me.

I turned to find Rem glaring daggers at Light.

It didn't seem like Light noticed, either that or he didn't care.

Light and I were sitting on the couch flicking through Netflix. Rem wasn't far, watching us closely. As I search for something to watch , I heard Light's phone go off. He grabbed it and read the notification. He sighed and pulled his arm from around my shoulders.

"What is it?"

"I have to go run some errands, I'll be back later."

"Oh okay, be safe."

As I finished my sentence, Light went to my room and gathered his things before leaving. I went back to my search when I felt a presence behind me. I turned to see Rem hovering over me.

"What's up Rem?"

"Nothing, I just figured we could hang out today. You appear bored and I am too."

"Oh okay, sure what do you want to do?"

Rem walked, or floated, around from behind me to beside me on the couch.

"Hmm, I'm not sure but anything is fine. I'm just happy to spend time with you."

I smiled at their words.

"Okay. How about we go for a walk, grab some snacks and watch something? Later we could play a few games too if you'd like."

"Yes, I'd enjoy that."

"Okay then, sounds like a plan. I'll go grab my wallet."

I quickly grabbed my wallet and put on my shoes.

"Alright lets go Rem!"

I locked the door to my house once Rem was out. I smiled as I faced Rem.

"Don't forget we can't talk in public." Rem reminded me.

I nodded and text Light, telling him I was leaving just in case some other fangirl decides to try something and I pop up missing. Though I can fight my own battles, I'd rather be safe than sorry.

I hummed as walked into the corner store, Rem following close behind. I strolled through the aisles looking for the best snacks. I made sure to grab my favorites but I wasn't sure what Rem liked. Knowing we couldn't speak in person, I pretended to think out loud.
