I ran through the hospital doors while the doctors were pushing the bed with my brother on it. Let's take a trip back before all this came into play.

Flashback
I was walking home when I noticed a body lying near a tall building in an alley. I ran over there to see my brother lying on the floor, blood pooled on the ground which was coming out of his chest area. I started crying and quickly pulled out my phone and called the ambulance. They arrived and put my brother on a stretcher with me following them inside the ambulance.

"Ma'am, you need to wait out here. Your brother needs emergency surgery." One of the nurses told me. "That's my brother in there!" I shouted tears pooling down my face. "We understand that ma'am, but you need to wait outside." She told me to go into the emergency room right after. I held my head in my hands and cried louder than ever.

I don't know what I'd do if my brother died and left me. He's the only family I had left, I couldn't lose him too. I stood for a while and then sat. Some hours past and a doctor came out of the emergency room. I ran to her. She looked up at me with a sad face. "He wants to say goodbye...he's on the verge of his last breath." I shook my head hard and ran past her and into the emergency room. There I saw him, struggling to breathe, but keeping his eyes open. I ran over to him and grabbed his hand in mine.

"NJ, you can't leave me, please stay with me, don't leave me please," I said while tears continued to stream down my face. "Nessa," my brother said. "You need to..be strong...I love you, Nessa". And just like that, he took his last breath. "NJ DON'T YOU DARE LEAVE MEE!" I cried.

The machine connected to him made a noise indicating he was gone. "I'm sorry for your lost ma'am," the doctor said and patted my shoulder. I slumped to the floor and screamed and cried the doctors and nurses looked at me with a saddened expression.

" NJ, why did you leave me? How can I be strong with you gone?"
