You are originally from England but due to some major family issues when you were old enough to, you moved to Germany. Like any young person, you watched so many movies and dreamed of going to America, to start your grown up life there.

The only person who knew about your hopes and dreams was your boyfriend but also your best friend, Hans. You and him were absolutely in love, your group of friends that you were both involved in referred to you as 'the adorably affectionate couple' and thought nothing could ever break you up.

But of course all your friends were shocked and sad to hear that you were moving to America, but nobody was as shocked to hear as Hans, the day you left is the day that Hans completely changed. You's did break up although tried to stay in touch, but of course you's drifted apart.

It's Christmas Eve and you are getting ready for the Christmas party at Nakatomi Plaza, you don't work there but you were invited there by a friend of yours, Gary, who has a crush on you but you don't reciprocate it, which he knows, doesn't stop him from flirting with you.

You put on a black dress with long sleeves and put your hair up and put the loose strands behind your ear., you put on your shoes and stood up in front of the mirror, smiling as you approved of your look.

"Okay"., you looked up at the clock and sighed., "oh! I'm late. I should go!"., you grabbed your keys and headed out of your home, going into your Jeep Cherokee and turning on the radio, and a Christmas song filled your ears, just so happened to be your favourite one.

~ You better watch out, you better not cry. You better not pout, I'm telling you why. Santa Claus is coming to town. He's making a list, he's checking it twice; he's gonna find out who's naughty or nice. Santa Claus is coming to town.

He sees you when you're sleeping, he knows when you're awake. He knows if you've been bad or good, so be good for goodness sake. You better watch out. You better not cry. You better not pout, I'm telling you why. Santa Claus is coming to town.

The song finished and you turned down the radio a bit and looked to the side to see a massive black truck with the words Pacific Courier on it and contact information on it., you looked up a bit to see who was in there to see a soft blonde haired man.

He obviously felt someone looking at him because he looked down at you and to be polite you smiled at him and waved., he just scoffed and turned his head back, rolling up his window. You thought it was a bit odd but and you being the curious person you are you tried to see through the window, but couldn't see much just hear him speaking.

"Da starrt mich ein Mädchen an. Glaubst du, sie weiß etwas?"., you did recognise it to be German but it's been years and years since you've been in Germany so you kind of forgot the language you were once fluent in. You shrugged your shoulders, not thinking anything of it and drove off.

You parked in the parking lot at Nakatomi Plaza and got out of your car walking up to the doors to see your friend Gary waiting for you because there was no way you could get in by yourself., "hello, sweetheart"., you smiled and waved, giving him a quick hug.

"Hey Gary, how are you?"., "I'm good. Very excited to attend this Christmas party as I had a hand in plannings it"., he said with a proud smile, thinking it would impress you in some way which it didn't., "alright, let head in, shall we?".

He opened the door for you and you walked in., Gary smirked and kind of saluted the man, putting a hand on your waist and lead you towards the elevator., "so how was the drive? How are you?"., you barely got a word in as he rambled on about all the dates he's been on in the past week to which you couldn't be less interested if you were honest.

You's got onto level 30 and as soon as the elevator doors opened the both of you were met with a big crowd of people just, chatting, dancing and some singing along to Christmas music. He put his hand on your waist and guided you out of the elevator, excited to have you with him.

Gary started to introduce you to everyone and if you were being honest you were very nervous to meet new people but these were refreshing and easy to talk to., "here, sweetheart. I'll get you a drink. Any requests?"., "uh, I don't really drink"., "so water?"., you smiled and nodded and he walked off to get yours and his drink.

You heard the elevator doors opened so you stood on your tippy toes and peeked over one of the people's shoulder and saw a group of men who looked very out of place, not dressed for the occasion., you quirked an eyebrow and tilted your head.

"Who are they?"., as soon as those words left your mouth gunshots started to go off., screams of the party guests - you included - erupted as the gunshots continued and you started to run away from the noise only to be manhandled by the same man you recognised to be in that massive truck earlier.

"Geh nach da drüben! Shut up!"., he pushed down guided you with the gun to your back and you nodded, willing to listen to anything if it meant that you weren't going to die. The well groomed man stood on the stairs, with a book in his hand, just watching everything go down, as calm as possible.

He put his hand up to sort of quieted everyone down, as much as you can when there are bloody guns in the room., "ladies and gentlemen!"., you looked up at the well groomed man and you gasped in shock as you saw your ex boyfriend

You would of never thought he would do this, you always thought he was a kind guy but then again, it has been years so he obviously would of changed.

"Ladies and gentlemen!"., everyone seemed to shut their mouths now and Hans opened up his little handbook, flipping through the pages and continuing: "due to the Nakatomi cooperations legacy..."., as Hans continued talking you started fiddling with your fingers, feeling afraid for your life.

"Now..."., he closed the handbook and continued: "where is Mr Takagi"., he finally moved from his spot and started walking down the stairs., "Joseph Yoshinobu Takagi..."., you didn't know who who Mr Takagi was so you looked around and saw caught sight of a woman in a pink blouse holding onto a man's arm.

"...Family emigrated to San Pedro, California in 1939, interned at Manzanar from 1942 to 1943, scholarship student, university of California 1955..."., he was getting particularly close to you and your heart was beating incredibly fast.

"...Law degree, Stanford, 1962"., he stopped at you and for the first time all evening, you saw fear in him., you two held eye contact and for the first time in a while he let down his tough and powerful exterior.

He looked back at one his men and looked back at you., "bring sie ins Büro. Achte darauf, dass sie da drin bleibt"., the man who jostled you hurried over to you, grabbing your arm., "ow!"., you tried to pull your arm away and looked back at Hans., "sei vorsichtig mit ihr!"., Hans bellowed out., he eased his grip on your arm and he started to bring her to the office.
