So, say if you want to go to a party and your parents might refuse. Then you give an "attitude" and say that your friends are going too!
Me: My friends are going though! They get to stay till 12!
Parents: So? Their family is different and our family is different. Just because everyone is doing it doesn't mean you're going to do it too. If your friends are going to jump off a roof, are you going to too? Np, right?
OK, so parents do have a point on this one BUT (Anaconda - Nicki Minaj :3 JK) then the roles swap.
Me: Mom, Dad,..... I'm sorry..... I failed my maths test....
Parents: Yeah..... WHAT??! Really??! I am tired of this. Why can't you be more like your other friends? Your friend, Emily. I swear to God she is so clever that even Frankenstein (supposed to be Einstein but parents!) will bow down to her.
Me:...But...but... but you said.... I give up!
