When parents think you're lying when you're actually saying the truth.
Seriously, it is so annoying! Especially when you're trying to justify yourself but a little smile from you means you're the culprit.
When you say the truth, they don't believe it and will probably go on about it the next few weeks. And when you're actually lying, you still get told off for lying! (The lucky scenario would be that they actually believe you!)
It makes me lose my faith in truth is greater than lies.
