I walk into Etched in Ink, ready to get work over with already so I can go home to my love. Before I left the house I had made sure that Eleanor was okay with being alone for a few hours.

I head straight past all of my employees. Each of them are either working on a client or getting ready for their next one.

I push the door to my office open and the first thing I see is Mason and Jamie, sitting on the couch.

I furrow my eyebrows, "What are you guys doing here?"

"Oh nothing. We just wanted to hang out with our best friend." Jamie says.

I narrow my eyes at him and he just stares back at me with his puppy eyes.

I sigh and sit down on my chair, ignoring the two idiots in my office.

Out of the corner of my eye, I see Jamie and Mason sit in the of the chairs in front of me. I mentally roll my eyes at him. What could these idiots want?

Jamie smirks at me and I raise an eyebrow at him in question.

"Are you going to marry her?" My eyes slightly widen at that.

I clear my throat, "I plan to but it's too soon. I need to wait it out and see if this is what we both really want."

He groans, "Just propose already. You guys are so cute together."

"And how do you know this? You guys only seen us together a few times."

Him and Mason glance at each other and then shrug at me.

"Answer me." I glare at them both.

"We maybe have been following you guys a bit but-" I cut Mason off as soon as he finishes with the first half.

"You guys have been following Eleanor and I?"

"It was only a few times. Right Jamie?" He looks over at Jamie for help but he holds his hands up in surrender.

My glare hardens at them both. So they basically followed Eleanor and I whenever we're out in public. I can't believe these idiots, that I actually call my best friends.

I sigh, "Just get out before I punch you both."

They instantly get up and head out of my office. I plop down on my chair and rub my forehead.

I grab my phone and send a text to Alex letting her know that I am taking the rest of my shift off. Once I press send, I collect my belongings and head out of the tattoo shop.

I drive straight to my house and park in the driveway. I exit my car and unlock the front door.

The aroma of spaghetti hits my nose as soon as I walk through the door. I quietly walk I got the kitchen to see my love at the stove making dinner whilst listening to music.

I admire her as she moves her hips to the song and lightly sings along. Her arms move freely around the kitchen. My eye catches what she's wearing. She has on one of my black t-shirts. It goes down to below her ass, just a few inches. Her bare legs are on display but luckily I'm the only that can see them.

I stand behind her and place my hands on her hips and I whisper lowly into her ear, "Boo."

She screams and jumps. I break into a fit of laughter.

After my laughing fit, I look back up at Eleanor to see that she's glaring at me with her hands on her hips.

"Was that really necessary?" She asks, but I can hear the bit of amusement in her tone.

"Sorry sweetheart." I apologize and pull her towards me, I plant a lovingly kiss on her forehead. I can see her relax at my gesture.

She pulls back a little to look at me, "It's okay," she flashes her adorable smile at me and I smile back at her.

"What are you making for dinner?" I ask her even though I already know the answer.

She perks up at the question, "Spaghetti. I decided to try and make it instead of ordering food. I found this recipe online and it was pretty easier to make it so I hope you like it."

"Of course I'll like it, baby. I love whatever you make." She claps her hands happily and turns back to the dinner that's sitting in a pot on the stove.

I patiently sit at the kitchen counter and scroll through the hundreds of emails that I still need to read.

Eleanor puts a plate of spaghetti in front of me and my mouth waters at the sight. It looks so good.

She sits next to me with her own plate of food with her. I take a bite and I hum in satisfaction.

"You like it?" Eleanor asks.

I nod, "This is so fucking good. You should open your own restaurant."

She giggles at me and takes a bite of the spaghetti. Her eyes widen and I chuckle at her.

We eat in silence but that silence is soon cut by Eleanor.

"What are we?"

I furrow my eyebrows at the question, "What do you mean?"

She sighs and sets her fork down, "What are we? Are we boyfriend and girlfriend? I mean, we act all coupley with each other. We cuddle, we kiss each other, we hold hands, we do basically everything other couples do."

"We're boyfriend and girlfriend of course. I thought you knew this?" I tilt my head confusedly at her. Obviously we're dating.

"But you haven't even asked me to be your girlfriend."

My mouth forms the 'o' shape. I thought since we kiss and hold hands and do all that other stuff, we were dating.

I turn my whole body towards her and take her hands I mine. I interlock our fingers and I take a deep breath, "Eleanor Lee Knight, will you be my girlfriend?" I smile at her.

She grins, "Of course!" She leans forward and captures my lips in hers. I kiss her back slowly and she follows me at the same pace.

We pull back and Eleanor is still smiling like a kid on Christmas day.

She pecks my lips one last time and mutters, "Much better." I laugh at her antics and we go back to eating our dinner. We end our night talking about our day, interesting things that happened, I even told her about Jamie and Mason and how they followed us everywhere in public. Not everywhere but some places.
