Part 8 A Visit to Saiki's Grandparents

Y/n ended up in the Saiki household for some reason. Yuta and his mom went to her husband's parents and will be staying there for a few days. She didn't want to stay home alone and was suppose to invite Kusuo for a trip. But the moment she arrived at the Saiki household, they were outside with their luggages.

"Ahh seems like you're going on a vacation too" the girl sighed but put up a smile anyway.

"Right! Want to come with us? I'm sure my parents wouldn't mind" The raven haired woman asked

"No need Kurumi-san it's ok I don't want to add up" She wave her hand

"No Y/N I insist. Ku-chan will be the only teen there." Mrs. Saiki told the h/c haired girl. I know that he can entertain himself his own way but he can't do much because my parents don't know he has psychic powers. Plus Kusuo needs a woman in his life

[she must've forgotten I can read her mind] "Mom I'll be fine."

After talking about who's going and who's not, Y/N gave in to Kurumi's persistence
"I can't refuse seem to refuse you Kurumi-san" Y/N pouted. "Alright then, I can take care of my fees and I'll help with the chores as repayment" she beamed at the raven haired lady

|| Country side in the middle of nowhere ||

After an hour and a half by train, two hours by plane, another two hours by train, and an extra 45 minutes by bus, they finally arrive in a countryside in the middle of nowhere.

Mr Saiki took a deep breath in admiring the scenery.

"This is a really nice place Ms. Saiki" Y/N smiled and wondered what in the world is Saiki's dad doing

"Thank you Y/N-chan. Papa, what are you doing?" She asked her husband

"I'm just thanking the land you're from" He said

"You're parents are lovey dovey as always" She said, nudging Saiki with her elbows.

"I still don't know the whole reason why you moved next to us"

"I figured you already know because of your psychic powers."

"No"

"Well that's weird. But I swear to god it was not because you lived near. I did not know that at all. I was closer with Yuta's mother than My mom's sister. Our age gap with Yuta's mom is around 10 years but she was the only best friend I grew up with so she is more like a sister to me than an aunt. And also, I didn't want to be a bother with the Kaidou family since they are already taking care of 3 children. That was basically all. You probably already knew that since you can't stop yourself from reading people's mind right?"

"I haven't got any time to read your mind" He lied

"It smells great here" Mr. Saiki said stretching his body

"It smells like fertiliser." Mrs. Saiki replied.

[Good grief. I forgot my gloves] Saiki thought but before he could teleport,

Auh- It's quite cold in the middle of nowhere... She shivered

"huh? Where did Saiki go?" The coffee haired man wondered.

With Saiki.

[I'm contemplating if I should get her a scarf or not. There is no time to choose] He thought, then grabbed a scarf from his closet and teleported back

"Where did you go?" Mr. Saiki asked

"I went to get my gloves" He said

"All that travel for nothing" Mr. Saiki sulked and started walking anyway.
