Part 11 At The Cafe

We'll start this part with Saiki enjoying his coffee jelly in a small cafe. With Y/N of course. We don't know why she's here, but she is also here.

"Why are you here?" Saiki asked the girl

"Why are YOU here?" Y/n asked the same question

"I am a regular here you?"

"Well from now on I am too" She huffed "Their coffee jelly is just top tier" She said imagining and then, a thought that was about to expose herself came

Saiki likes this place too huh...this must be- NO Y/N don't think of that.

She mentally slapped herself.

"No this is not fate" He brutally shut the girl down making her be in low-spirits

"Who said that this is fate?"

"Your thoughts"

"My thoughts didn't say anything"

After ordering, both immediately gobbled up their coffee jelly. Well..... Y/N did. Saiki just ate 1 teaspoon each.

My soul is healed  Y/N thought taking one bite after another

The two enjoyed their coffee jelly in silence when Mera approached their table.

"Thank you for always coming here and spending your money." Mera said.

"Oh no problem at all!! I've been a regular here" Y/N said finishing her dessert

"You can't just become a regular if you've only been once or twice"

"For your information, I've been here thrice"

"Where are the other people?" Saiki asked as he turned his head around ignoring Y/N

"We haven't been getting much customers lately as there's been a new cafe that opened right across the streets" Mera scratched the back of her head

"Business must be rough right now.." Y/N said sipping on her tea. "WAIT! THAT DOESN'T SOUND GOOD!!"

"Ignore her. She's worried for the coffee jelly" Saiki told Mera

"Y/N-san You were a lot different from when I first saw you" Mera chuckled earning a small cough from Y/N

"Huh how so?" The curious girl asked

"You seem more carefree" Mera answered

"Oh ahem well.... Uh... I-I'll help you Mera so that your manager won't have mood swings anymore" Y/N stood up and paid for her order. As Saiki was about to leave and pay silently, he got roped into it

They came into a conclusion of wearing maid-outfit and plastering posters all over the place.

"Y/N would you like to help around?" The manager asked

"Me?? As a maid waitress??" She pointed to herself surprised by the sudden offer.

"I mean do I get free coffee jelly?" She asked anticipating for a positive answer

"Well...err..no..." The manager responded and the excitement on Y/N's face disappeared and turned stoic

"Oh. Sorry I actually have a part-time job at the convenience store" She said packing up her things "I'll be coming again tho until this cafe goes bankrupt" She waved goodbye and was already at the door.

"Sai- Kusuo let's go!" She said and he stood up from his seat packing his stuff.

When they left, it turned out that the Manager wanted to keep this place the way it is. Y/N who overheard the conversation of two guys (how they like the coffee and how quiet the place is) and ran back to turn the sign upside down when Saiki was about to do the same thing but with his psychic powers
