I yawned. My neck hurt from sleeping so crooked.
I feel like I'm sleeping a lot.

Looked at the clock again. It's only been 13 hours.
I stretched my arms in front of me looking around.
Several other people seemed to be dozing off as well and the room was a lot fuller.

Hisoka was playing with cards while Illumi was eating like a weirdo.

I got up to get me something to eat from the cart but nothing seemed appetizing so I sat back down. I reached into my bag for another granola bar.
When I get out of here I need some real food.

After I finished stuffing my face I turned towards Hisoka.
'Would it be weird to ask to play?'
Almost like he read my mind, Hisoka asked me to play spades.

Hisoka pretended to be offended.
"Why would you accuse me of such a thing?"

I rolled my eyes and checked my phone again.
Surprisingly Hisoka wasn't 'evil'.
By that I mean he wasn't trying to kill me.
As much as I regret saying it he was kinda chill.

I grabbed my earbuds and decided to spend the rest of the time vibing to music.

"Eh"

Huh. I guess it was time to leave. At least I got plenty of sleep before we had to go to the island. Now I could stay up all night and not be tired.

"It's finally over huh." I heard one of the brothers say. They were so annoying.
"Looks like it's just the 20 of us."

I also noticed that Hisoka had distanced himself from me, as well as Illumi. We all sat on opposite sides of the room.
When I looked up I made eye contact with Hisoka who winked at me.

I looked away hiding my face in my jacket.

Suddenly a door on the far left opened.

Kurapika Applicant 404 is the 21st to pass, Killua applicant 99 is the 22nd to pass, Gon applicant 405 is the 23rd to pass.

As Leorio and Tonpa fight their way out of the tunnel I make my way over to them.

Gon looks over.
"Hey Y/n! You made it before us!"

I feel a smile rise on my face, his energy was contagious.

"Well you guys were kinda last..."

I step out and cover my eyes blinded by the sun.

The weird glasses guy explains the rules and I wipe the sweat off my forehead.
Damn it's hot.

I suddenly get bumped.
I looked down and Killua rolled his eyes at me.
"Go idiot" he whispers.

Oh crap. I walk up faster than usual and grab a badge trying to act casual.
At least I get a headstart.

I started thinking of everyone I knew then it hit me.

Hanzo.
Double crap.

I walk away from the group to sit on a bench, waiting for everyone to finish. How the hell am I going to get Hanzo's badge?
This is gonna be hard. Would he actually kill me if I tried? That's a problem.
