Finally unpacking is done!

I sighed and crashed on the bin bag placed near the balcony.

"Nirvaan we want a treat for helping you" Jay and Avni, my crazy friends aka monkeys exclaimed, crashing on the sofa.

"Of course, monkeys" I smirked and received a cushion on my face.

I took out my phone to place the order.

"Owww" I heard an ear-piercing scream.

I looked up and found Avni really jumping like a monkey.

But we saw blood dripping down her foot.

We immediately ran and helped her sit on the sofa.

It was a glass piece.

Must have been left behind after cleaning.

I slowly held her leg to examine the cut.

"Ahh it's hurting" she screamed even before I touched it.

I rolled my eyes and slowly started taking out the glass piece.

"Please slow down a bit" she moaned like a kid.

"Shut up Avni! You are not a kid! It will just hurt at the beginning" I groaned.

For God's sake, she is 28!

My 5-year-old patients are better than her.

"Take this it will subside your pain" I handed her a painkiller with water.

"But it is so big" she cried seeing the tablet.

It is hardly 0.6 in diameter.

"Shut up and open your mouth" I groaned in irritation.

"Ok faster" she pleaded and closed her eyes.

I shook my head and placed the tablet inside her mouth and handed her the glass of water.

All this while that stupid Jay was silently laying on the floor, dying out of laughter.

I have got a bunch of idiots!

"You had your dinner?" Ma asked on the call.

"Yeah" I replied making a ppt for my next lecture.

"What are you having?" she asked.

Typical moms, I tell you!

"Aloo paratha" I replied.

"Really? My Gudiya learnt to cook so well. Always making new dishes! So proud of you baccha" she cried in happiness.

Proud? Yeah as if NASA is sending me to space.

I rolled my eyes.

"Ma, I will call tomorrow ok? I need to complete this ppt" I said looking at the wall clock.

"Ok bye and enjoy your dinner" she chirped and hung up.

I sighed looking at my Maggie.

Morning...

I ran to get my scooter keys with bread inside my mouth.

I can't be late today.

After wearing my scandals, I locked my apartment, fastly chewing on my bread.

"Ahh fuck" I heard the same man's scream from the neighboring apartment.

This time I didn't hear the woman's voice.

Did he start in the morning only?

That too alone?

Chi! Don't even want to imagine.
