It was finally the day of the party for the seniors and I was super excited. Parties tend to go well for me even though I've only been to one party.
Still, it was a good experience for the most part.

"You look so cute" Lola looks me over as we walk into the party.

I wore some Jean shorts and had my bathing suit underneath, with a white top over it. Since we were going to the beach of course, I haven't been there all summer and now was finally my chance to go.

Mateo, Lola and I drove here together and Heath was going to meet us here so I haven't seen him yet. I looked forward to seeing him. Especially now that I know he doesn't hate me.

When we enter the house it was already filled with people from school, some of the girls were already in their bikinis and were talking to their friends. The kitchen was crowded with a group of people, drinking. And the music wasn't so loud so you could hear the chatter of everyone speaking at once.

"Do you guys want a drink?" Mateo asks, his curly hair looked wet which means he probably showed before.

"Sure, nothing with alcohol please." Lola smiled and he looks at me but I decline.

He walks over to the kitchen and Lola turns to me.
"So. What should we do? We can take the bikes out." She offers since we brought our bikes here to ride to the beach.

"Yes, Cmon I wanna go to the beach!" I take her hand and drag her through the crowd.

"Thalia!" I hear my name being called and I recognize the voice but I really don't want to speak with them.

"Thalia, hey." They tap my shoulder, turning me around.

"Henry, hey, sorry I didn't hear you." I lied, obviously I did. It's just he's starting become a little annoying, but I don't wanna be mean.

"Can we talk? If you're not busy." He looks over at Lola who was behind me and I was about to tell him that I was busy but Lola spoke for me.

"It's okay, you can go. I'll meet you out back, come find me later." She pats my back and walks away.

"Wanna go somewhere private?" He then asks but I've seen enough movies to know not to go anywhere private with just any guy, especially the super nice ones.

"Let's go outside." I said because I knew there were people there.

I follow him out into the patio, we find a little empty space in the corner where we could talk. This was the perfect spot to view the pretty orange sunset, not Henry.

He blocks my view from the sunset and right away puts on one of his smiles, he leans one arm on the deck behind me, his arms on either side of me. He started getting too close for my comfort but I didn't say anything.

"So, what'd you wanna talk about?" I ask, noticing the weird way he was staring at me and my clothes.

"Let's talk about you" He curls a piece of my loose hair in his finger and lets it drop.
