𝗢𝗡𝗘 𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗧𝗛 𝗟𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗥
It was early in the morning, half past 8 almost 9am and Lani was awake already, getting ready for her morning meeting while simultaneously trying to get Kai up but it was easier said than done.
Lani had woken up first around 8am, waking up Kai soon as she did, telling him to get up.
At first he did get up, not without making it a hassle for Milan but none the less he got up and sat on the bed, but at some point he must've dozed back off while she took a shower.
Little droplets of water slowly tracked down her body as she wrapped the towel tighter, looking at him as he slept and felt irritation bubbling inside her.
Unlike Milan, Kai wasn't a morning person in the slightest.
Yet he needed to be up bright and early for his Radio interview with the breakfast club today that was at 10am sharp. Kai told Milan before to make sure to wake him up early so he had enough time to get himself together, and she did.
It only annoyed her because he had the worst attitude in the morning and Milan was rushing herself, she didn't have time to deal with it yet here she was, waking him up again.
"Bae." She shook him, watching his brows draw together.
"What is you shaking me so hard for Milan?"
"It's time to get up. You was supposed to get in the shower with me and you laying here sleep like let's go." She replied, watching him ignore her and try to go back to sleep.
"Bae, come on like you boutta make me mad, it's time to get up." She called out loudly, snatching the covers off of her boyfriend harshly.
This time he was up, seeing his eyes move underneath his eyelids before they opened, his face immediately twisting up.
"Yo why is you snatching covers for?" He grumbled, his voice raspy.
"Cause you was been supposed to get up, you asked me to wake you up and I did, why would you go back to sleep."
"You woke me up mad early, fuck am I waking up 2 hours early for?" He sat up and she rolled her eyes.
"You act like you don't take forever to get yourself together, That's why."
"Still, you start violating snatching the covers and being loud. Just odee like for what?" He asked annoyed his sleep was interrupted.
