Vampire Diaries On my own

Ch. 1

                                                         Cameron POV 

It was late afternoon when I got off the bus, My hood to my hoodie up and my backpack on, withe the essentials in it, 

I walked off the bus as fast as I could, I had too keep moving, No matter what, 

I ended up in Mystic Falls, Seems like a quiet town, I thought as I strolled through town, 

I come across The Mystic Grill, 

"Seems like a nice place to get something to drink, Water is always free anywhere," I mumbled 

I opened the door and a bell rung, 

I looked around I walked over to a booth that was close to the door just in case I need to make a quick exit, 

I looked at the menu clearly not going to buy anything but still looked as I kicked my feet back and forth, since I'm on the short side, 

"Can I help you?" I hear 

I look up to see a teenager blondish hair and blue eyes, 

"Umm yes can I just get a water," I said 

"Sure? where are your parents?" he asked 

"Oh we just moved here, I'm just exploring the town," I said smiling at him 

"My name is Cameron," I said holding out my hand and smiling ear to ear, 

"Matt," He said taking my hand clearly confused, it's a typical response I mean a seven year old walking around on her own, People tend to be confused or concerned 

                                                Damon POV 

Me and Ric were at the bar having a drink talking abound how Isobel would treat him like that, when the bell chimed, 

I looked in the direction and see a small girl, 

"Who's the kid?" I asked 

Ric looked in the direction also, 

"Don't know," He said 

We see Matt talking  to the kid, Matt came over to the bar and got a glass of water, 

"Hey Matt who's the kid?" Ric asked 

"Her name is Cameron, she said she just moved here," Matt said then walked away giving her the water,

"Maybe I should introduce myself," I said getting up, 

"Come on Damon she's a little girl don't want to go and scare her," Ric said 

"Please everyone loves me including small children," I said 

                                    Cameron POV 

I was enjoying my water as I looked at the menu kicking my feet back and forth and hummed, when I heard someone sit in my booth across from me, 

I slowly lowered the menu to see a man with black hair and blue eyes, 

I almost let out a breath, but didn't, 

I tilted my head, 

"Can I help you?" I asked as I looked at the man, 

"In a matter of fact you can, I just wanted to introduce myself, I'm Damon" he said holding out his hand,

"Nice to meet you I'm Cameron," I said smiling ear to ear taking his hand and shaking it, 

"So what brings you to Mystic Falls?" He asked 

"Oh my Dad just moves around a lot because of his job," I said coming up with a lie I use a lot, 

I hear someone clear their throat, 

It was a man with darkish hair and blue eyes, 

"Sorry to cut in but Damon I need to talk to you," He said 

"Sure, Nice meeting you Cameron," Damon said 

"You too," I said smiling at him, 

The man nodded at me and they both walked away, 

I better get going so I can find a place to crash for the night I thought getting up and walking out of the Mystic Grill.
