Vampire Diaries On my own

Ch. 2

Cameron POV

I ended up finding a abandoned house in the woods last night, I was suddenly awoken by a noise down stairs,

I quickly grab my back pack that I was using as a pillow and put my zip up hoodie on and put my back pack on my back,

I quietly creep out of the room making as little noise as possible, trying not to alert whoever is in the house,

"I'm telling you Damon a bunch of tomb vampires are not going to use a abandoned house as their place to stay where any vampire can enter," I hear,

"Come on Ric, they have been locked in a tomb forever," I hear Damon say

"But look who's leading them," I hear the man named Ric say

"Yeah, Lets just look around," I hear Damon said

I quietly sneak down to the first floor opening a window not sure if the door is still blocked or not,

I jumped out the window and took off running, twigs and leaves crunching under my feet, I looked over my shoulder making sure they weren't chasing me,

Suddenly I ran into something making me fall to the ground on my butt with a grunt,

I look up it wasn't a something more like a someone,

I see a man with brown hair and green eyes.

"Oh I'm sorry I didn't see you there " he said

He offered me his hand I hesitantly took his hand,

"Thank you." I said smiling

"Your welcome. What were you running from?" He asked concerned

"Oh I was just wandering around the woods and I heard a noise got scared kinda silly huh?" I said rubbing the back of my neck

"No not at all it's okay to be scared." He said

I nodded

"Umm, I'm Cameron." I said holding out my hand

"Stefan," he said smiling and taking my hand and shaking it

"Stefan we didn't find-" I hear Damon but he stopped talking seeing me

"Cameron what are you doing in the middle of the woods this early in the morning?" Damon asked as he and Ric walked towards us

I shrugged

"Just exploring " i said

"We'll nice to meet you Stefan I better get back home ." I said

Everyone nodded and I took off running towards town

That was a close one I better find a better place to sleep where people won't barge in like that I thought as I ran.

I know one thing for sure I can't let anyone find out why I am on my own.

If anyone finds out that would be bad very bad for me and I am determined not to let anyone in or anyone to find out that is for sure.

I have been on my own for three years and I am determined to keep it that way no matter what.

I finally got to town walking over to a bench that was under a tree sitting down to take a breath.

What I felt someone sit next too me.

I looked next to me and see Damon.

I arched my brow.

"Mind telling me why you were lying to us?" Damon said

Oh crap how the heck did he know I was lying?

How am I getting out of this one I thought
