Vampire Diaries On my own

Ch. 9

                                                  Cameron POV 

It has been a few days, I am currently staying with Ric when I woke up in his apartment to say I was confused was a little bit of an understatement, One moment I was in the car with Damon, Elena and him, then next I wake up on his couch, 

I am currently walking next to him as he is carrying a box, we arrive at Damon and Stefan's place, 

 "Ric!, Cameron!" Damon said 

[Alaric sees Jeremy.]

" What are you doing here?" Ric said 

"Helping Damon. I'm the one who found out about the moonstone." Jeremy said 

[Alaric looks at Damon. Damon shrugs. He looks back at Jeremy.]

"Does Elena know you're here?" Ric asked 

" Not exactly." Jeremy said 

" What you got?" Damon asked,

[Damon starts to dig through the box and takes out a book.]

"This is Isobel research's from Duke. Her assistant sent it to me." Ric said 

" Mmm, Vanessa. The hottie." Damon said 

[Alaric takes the book out of Damon's hands.]

"Vanessa, yes. Now, do you remember the old Aztec curse she told us about?" Ric said 
" Sun and the moon, blah blah blah blah blah." Damon said 

[Jeremy walks over to them.]

" An Aztec curse? Cool." Jeremy said 

"Oh oh I know! Yeah, supposedly vampires and werewolves used to roam freely until a shaman put a curse on them to limit their power." I said jumping lightly on my feet, 

They all looked at me like I had three heads, 

"What? I pay attention," I said 

"Since then, werewolves can only turn on a full moon and vampires are weakened by the sun." Ric said 

[Damon wiggles his fingers, showing his daylight ring.]

"Most of them, anyway." Damon said 

" According to the legend, the werewolf part of the curse is sealed with the moonstone." Ric said 

[Alaric shows him a map. Jeremy takes it and looks at it. It has pictures showing the story of the Sun and the Moon curse.]

" What do you mean sealed?"  Jeremy said 

"It's a witch thing, whatever seals the curse is usually the key to unsealing the curse." Damon said 

"Maybe Mason Lockwood believes he can use the moonstone to break the curse." Ric said 

"If we start believing in some supernatural witchy-woo legend from a picture book, we're idiots. Who has the stone now?" Damon said 

" Tyler." Jeremy said 

"Can you get it?" Damon said 

"Yeah." Jeremy said 

"See, now your life has purpose." Damon said 

"So, you do believe it?" Jeremy said 

"It's the same book that says a werewolf bite kills a vampire. Ignoring it would make me an even bigger idiot. Let's go." Damon said 

[Damon finishes his drink and walks past Alaric and Jeremy.]

Later Me and Ric are at Elena's house, Ric is Cooking while I am setting the table for Jenna, 

Alaric is chopping up food with a knife.]

"You're pretty handy with that thing." I hear Jenna say

"Yeah, well, it's a skill. " Ric said as he laughs, 


" Here." He said 


"Where's the, um, where's the sea salt?" Ric asked 

"Table." Jenna said 

I see Elena come in she put her finger to her lips and walked upstairs, I wonder what that was about I thought,
