I greet the child who came in front of my restaurant
She came here last week and asks for free food, well she didn't beg
It wasn't strange that children come here to asks for free food since their orphanage isn't that luxurious
I heard that the owner of the orphanage is embezzling the money came from donation's for the children
The employees too often beaten the children cause them lots of scars,
the strange thing in that orphanage is there is a child who has a raven eyes and hair that confused me how she ended up there
It bother me abit since only that bloodline has that kind of hair and eye color, but I let it go since she's my son's playmate
I find her suspicious when I first saw her because no child would behave like adult, but it all make sense even if I was in her situation who always got beaten up for nothing will make me force to mature
"Miss Lyn I miss you so much!"
Niya said with a delightful voice it doesn't surprise me since she often do that when she's hungry
"Alright what do you want?"
I ask the young raven as her eyes sparkle in excitement making me giggle
Her cuteness reminds me of my son even though sometimes she acts like a mother and scolded me for not taking care of myself
"Wow is that a new food in your restaurant?"
Niya asks me and pointed at the big menu in the front counter
"Oh you notice it so quick"
I look at her amazingly at how she noticed alot in just a few seconds
"Fufu~ don't underestimate a hungry child madame" I smiled at her
She always called me madame to tease me because she knows that I came from a noble family
I didn't know how she knew about it because only few trusted people knew my real identity but she said she often hear a name of Everlyn in nobles who often came here
Yes some nobles know me because of my high status, they always called me Queen of high society when there's a gathering before, but now I know that I'm nothing but a mere commoner now since I've been neglected by my father
The nobles must have think of me as a Flirty woman who got touch by unknown man, but the man that I've slept with was still mystery to them since I didn't let any of them see my son
If they saw my son having the same feature as the Scary Duke they will surely target him to treathen the Duke
"Oh the orphanage is in mess today did an important guest will arrive today?"
It's true that the orphanage is in mess today, sometimes when an important guest arrive the employees would make the orphanage look dirty just for donations
"I think there will be a noble who'll try to adopt today" Niya said while eating the food I prepared for her
I look at Niya as her black eyes met my eyes I wanted to adopt her badly but the orphanage wouldn't allow it and I just saw Niya having lot of wounds every day as I can do nothing but to clean her wounds
My restaurant is pretty famous at this city because of the unique tastes of my foods well I mean who would not?
I have saved enough money for me and my son and also for Niya so I don't have some financial any financial problem if I adopt Niya but that Bald owner wanted to keep Niya for some reason
Minutes after I noticed that the orphanage employees were already outside as if waiting for someone to enter, but a luxurious carriage caught my attention
When Niya noticed me froze she also look at where I was looking at as her eyes widen in shock
"What's going on?!"
How can I forgot that carriage
The carriage that the Duke always use
The carriage that the father of my son's always use
