It's been a few weeks since the dinner. Viserys had sent letters to different lords telling them he dethroned Rhaenyra and named his granddaughter, Layra as heir. The lords actually liked Layra because during the six years Layra had visited each part of the Seven Kingdoms.
She was known as the Realms Beauty. She had visited the orphanages, fixed them up to make them look better, nursed the sick back to health and gave advice on how to make their defences better.
