My Destiny

"I know it's you," I said in a sing-song voice.

Cooper chuckled and retracted her hands from my eyes. She walked around so she was now in front of me. Taking a seat opposite mine, she raised a curious eyebrow at the glass in my hand. I was not the one to drink in the morning, ever, but today, I found myself with a glass of rum and diet coke.

"Tough day," I sighed.

"Can I do something?" Cooper asked.

"I don't think so," I replied.

Cooper leaned in closer to  whisper in my ear, "Are you sure? I read that sex relieves stress."

Having Cooper so close to me made me shiver. I could feel her hot breath on my neck, almost making me groan. She was not helping the situation. I squeezed my legs before I found the strength to push her away. As soon as my hand touched her chest, a jolt of electricity passed through my hands. The jolt was so intense that it threw Cooper away from me. Cooper fell off of the chair, rubbing the area where I had struck her, accidentally.

Cooper looked up shocked, I stared at my hand and then at her. I was confused, super duper confused. I immediately mind-linked Dr. Rose and told her the whole incident. She sounded confused too but asked for some time to do some research.

"What was that?" Cooper asked, dusting herself off.

"I am not sure. This is the first time something like this has happened, "I revealed, surprised.

"Interesting," Cooper hummed.

"Wanna try again?" Cooper extended her hand in a handshake.

I was reluctant but shook her hand. Nothing happened this time. We let go of our hands and tried another handshake, still nothing. Now, we were both super confused and astonished.

"I have an idea," Cooper smirked evilly. She came closer, and our faces were mere centimeters apart. I could feel her hot breath on my face. My heartbeat grew faster, I anticipated Cooper's moves but dreaded them too.

"Cooper," I whispered.

"Hmm," she hummed, taking my response as a yes she started to lean in, but I pulled back.

"It's the full moon?" I blabbered, confused.

I have been very horny since I woke up and I couldn't understand why. But it all makes sense now. The way Cooper has been acting and the way my body has been acting all day. It explains Cooper's advancements.

"Is it?" she asked, confused as well.

"I think so. Let's check."

I pulled out my phone and typed in full moon, and the search engine suggested options. After I hit the search button, the results showed up. It was indeed a full moon today.

"Figures! I am so sorry for the way I have been acting. It's my hormones plus the full moon and your un-fucking-believably tantalizing and intoxicating scent. Your pheromones are driving me crazy, " Cooper explained..

I couldn't help but laugh at her, she joined too. "It's okay."

We were sitting in the backyard today, getting some sun and listening to the birds chirp. We didn't have a lot of work to do since we were always on top of it. I didn't like to keep any work pending, and neither did Cooper.

"Want to go shopping with me?" I offered. It has been way too long since I last went shopping.

"Shopping, really?" Cooper asked, slightly groaning.

"It won't be too long, I will take you out for pizza later." I tried to bribe her.

"Can't say no to free pizza," Cooper smiled.
