heading to class, I turn my phone back on, as I usually turn it off when I'm studying or focusing on my music, I see a notification from Instagram saying @TheRealJakeAnderson — it's Jake Anderson. Jake Anderson who I'm tutoring and the player who plays for our hockey team. "What the... is this some sick joke or something??" Heading towards class I join Ella and Alex on our way and I'm all panicky, "You'll never guess who followed me on Insta!" I show them the notification in my phone and ask, "Should I follow back? I'm still new to Instagram, and I don't have any cool people or athletes following me, just you two, Tiffany and my dad and brother."
Alex jokes, "Ouch, that hits me in the feels. But of course, you're cool! "Follow back", as Alex turns to me and says "You two have been solid."
"I agree, I think we're becoming friends,
Okay, I'll follow back."
I take a seat in class and start taking notes while the professor is talking. fully focused, absorbing all that knowledge like a sponge.
