The Unrequited Marriage

misunderstanding?

Nishtha's pov:

"When are you coming back?" I yelled in frustration but he,on the other side was calm as always.

It's been a month since we came back from our honeymoon and 20 days since he left for his business trip
We call each other every day.
Sometimes when our timing doesn't match we send off texts.but we always keep in touch
Long distance scares me off because last time it created havoc in our lives and it left an unimpressive remark on me.

I just wish that he comes here soon so that my uneasy heart will be relieved

The next day I was busy with my studies as my exams are going to start from next  month so,I decided to start my studies from now onwards

I switched off my phone and dived in my book.hours went by and I didn't realise that it was evening already.
Until my mother-in-law knocked on my door with a tray of snacks and tea

She's completely changed
Sometimes I can't realize that she's the same woman who abused me in the early days of my marriage

I smiled and took the tray from her hand and placed it on my study table

I switched on my phone to see if there's any message or call from reyansh but it wasn't.there were zero notifications

After taking a good amount of break I started studying again

It was night by now and I was done with my revision I closed my books and went downstairs for dinner

"Mom" I said and I joined them on the dining table

"Yeah! See I made your favourite meal " she said opening the lid of the dishes

I smiled contently when the door of our house rang

"I'll check" I said and went to open the door

"Hey" he exclaimed and took me in a tight hug

Wait why didn't he informed me?

"I thought of surprising you" he whispered

We heard someone clearing throat and turned around to see his parents looking elsewhere and smiling

"How was Your trip?" His mother asked and they started chit chatting

We sat and started having our dinner
And he placed his hand on my thigh

I gasped at his touch and looked at horror while he simply winked at me

He started tracing my upper thigh which was dangerously close to my clothed core

I don't think I will have my dinner today

Throughout the dinner his hands were doing sinful things to my body

After having our dinner we were casually having a talk with his mum

"Should we retire to our room now?"I asked when he was still sitting with the others

" why? Everyone is here.moreover I'm having fun"he teased
I placed my feet slowly on his and caressed his leg
His breath became uneven with my mere actions
I traced his legs with my fingers and he immediately stood up

"Uh- I'm having a headache so I'm going to sleep." He buzzed off and I laughed hysterically

"I'm gonna give him medicine" I said and everyone smirked

I opened the door of our bedroom and within seconds I was pinned to the wall
He clasped his lips with mine and tapped on my thigh to jump
Taking me in his embrace,I held his face in between my hands and started kissing all over his face

"I missed you so much" I said while kissing the corner of his lips

"Show me" he demanded

"Huh?"

"Show me how much you missed me"

I knew what he meant and for the first time in our marriage I went down on him

For the next few hours we were busy exploring each other and when we stopped it was already midnight

I dressed myself up and went downstairs to drink water.I filled the bottle and took it for him

I heard soft whispers from our room and when I slowly opened the door I saw him talking to someone on the phone.
And the conversation that he was having made my heart swell in pain

"Yeah!I miss you too"

"We'll meet tomorrow okay?"

"Pakka sweetheart"
