Her 2 Dads

Trouble Pt.2

Mae pov:

"Well what a coincidence....Feel free to have a seat." Mr. Brown the principal said

As my parents look at me confused on why I was told to go to the office. They also look upset though.

"So what brings you hear Ms.Peterson" Mr.brown said

I am so dead.

"Umm.. I was sent here." I said twirling with my fingers 

"Why?" Dad asked in a confused tone

"Well ummm I-." I began to stall I usually do when I know I did something wrong.

Just than the Ms.Smith knocked on the door.

"Yes?" Mr.brown asked 

"Ms.Green is here she says she wants to speak to Mae Guardian."Ms.Smith  says (the secretary)

I can feel both my parents eyes on me. I am as good as toast.

"Hello, Ms.Green what brings you here." Mr.Brown Asked 

"Well since I know that maes parents came here to speak about maes grade and behavior.. I thought it would be best if I was here to speak in person than based on my notes. Especially from today." Ms.green says acting all professional.

"What do you mean today?" Papi asked confused as he looked at me

"Well I'm glad you asked.... Mae had a little problem today when she walked into class." Ms.Green started then continued "Well she came in 7 mins late and when I asked her why she was late she  explained she wasn't and said the bell didn't ring yet which it did.." "Which I guess turned a switch on her and I told her she was indeed late again which she then claimed made no sense." "So I gave her detention because she was not only late but disrespectful which than that's when she told me I was annoying as the f word and now we're here." Ms.Green says pausing every now and than 

"¡haces qué!" papi exclaimed which means : (You did what!) 

"Mae, estás en tantos problemas. ¿Me oyes, jovencita? Cuando lleguemos a casa, te castigarán." Papi said  which means  (Mae, you're in so much trouble. Do you hear me, young lady? When we get home, you will be punished.)

"But Papi I-." I say before dad cuts me off 

"y estás castigado por un mes" Dad says which means (And your grounded for a month)

" A month! But Dad-." I say as you could tell I felt ashamed in myself just from looking at me 

One thing about me. I hate when both are my parents are mad. I mean yes I do get a warning and stuff like earlier but they weren't mad. This is mad.

With that dad sighed "Anything else?" He asked Ms.Green

"Actually there is I don't know if u went over grades yet but umm Mae has a C- In my class and she missed a few classes Monday, Thursday last week and a test we took last week she scored a 42% As it was multi choice question and she put B for all them."

"What do u mean she missed a few class?" Dad asked looking at me

"Well I checked her other classes and she attended those I thought maybe she came late?" Ms.Green said looking at me 

"Ms.Peterson did you skip Ms.Greens Class?" Mr.Brown asked looking at me

I sat in silence for a while.

"Did you?" Dad asked upset

"...yes" I say quietly but loud enough to hear.

"Little Girl you are so getting punished when we get home." Dad said through his teeth 

"I-."

"Enough". Dad said sternly 

"Will Since skipping class is against school rule I'm afraid Mae will have in school suspension for about a week."Mr.brown said

"That's perfectly fine."Papi says 

"Since all this happened we can quickly go over her grades, knowing we didn't get a chance to before." Mr.brown says

"Alright."Dad says trying to stay calm

"Her class grades are"

A+ = Math

A = Social studies

A- = Science

A+ = Dance 

C- = English

C+ = Spanish

"That's all her grades". Mr.Brown finishes 

"A c+ in Spanish? ¡Mae! ¿Cómo tienes una C+ en español?" Papi exclaimed (How do u have a c+ in Spanish)

"Idk papi." I say as tears fall from my face from all the aggravation.

"Mae if you need help in Spanish u could of asked." Papi says now normal

"Well it was a pleasure meeting you" Papi says as him and dad stand up and shake Mr. browns hand and Ms.Greens Hand. As I follow them out into the car.

"Young Lady! You are in a world of trouble do u understand?" Dad say sternly 

"Yes I understand." I say quietly 

"What in your mind, thought it was a good idea to skip class! Especially English!" Papi said 

"English is just to hard." I say annoyed 

"And we get that but first we DONT skip class and 2nd We DONT give up." Papi said emphasizing Dont.

"I'm sorry..." I say looking out the window 

"Well Sorry is not going to cut it... wait in our room until either your papi or I go in the room." Dad said 

"Okay" I say as I get out the car and into the house heading upstairs into there room.

What's gonna happen now? I mean I know I'm going to get beat but I haven't got punished in 4 months. Yes I got tonsss of pops but never a full punishment.. something tells me it's going to hurt way more than before.
