"O-okay" I say as I'm still crying. I forgot how heavy handed my parents are.
"Count these" Papi instructed

"Your almost done Mae 3 more okay?"Papi says as he rubs my back
Oka-okay" I say as I watch my tears fall on my parents carpet floor.

"It's all over." Papi says as he pulls up my underwear and pants and puts me on his lap.
"I-I'm S-sorry" I say hiccuping.
"Shhhh shhh your forgiven mi amor, It's in the past now." Papi says stroking my hair
"Look at me ( as I do he continues) You learned you lesson right?" Papi says
"Mhm" I say shaking my head yes
"Words Mi Amor."Papi says as his piercing brown eyes look into mine.
"Y-yes I learned my lesson." I say looking down at the ground
One thing about me. It's hard to make eye contact with people. Not only because I'm insecure about my eyes, but also because I feel guilty about every little thing. Even if in the moment I am mad and I don't care... later I'm going to care. Even if my parents find out or not.
"I love you okay... you know I don't like doing that Elizabeth" (He only calls me Mae or Elizabeth when he is serious or means something) Papi said calmly but also seriously.
"I know.." I say as Papi then plants a kiss on my head.
"Good now since we are on the Same page... Please go to your room and write an apology letter to Ms.Green please... your father and I will call you down in a bit." Papi says kissing my forehead again before I get up and go to my room.
As I sit down on my bed.. I immediately spring up. I guess I won't be sitting comfortably for a while.
I get a piece of paper out and a pen and start writing an apology note to Ms.green. She is still annoying as hell though.
A few minutes later I hear my dad say " Mae, Come downstairs please"
Omg what's going to happen now? I know they said they need to talk to me but I'm still a little scared. I mean I know I'm not going to get punished again but I know I'm definitely in for at least an hour lecture. Lord help me. I say as I walk downstairs.
