Mae pov:

When Papi and I got home Dad and Matthew were home too. Matthew was in his room painting as dad was in the kitchen. I think he was prepping dinner.

"Hey may flower"dad said kissing my forehead 

"Hey dad" I say smiling

"Hey mi amor." Dad said as him and papi kissed.

"Did Matt get everything he needs for the painting?" Papi asked

"Yea he did, he said he is almost done already". Dad said sounding shock

"Already, but the nino( boy) just started"Papi said sounding surprised

"That's what I said" dad as he chuckled to himself

"Well I am going in the shower"Papi said 

"Okay".Dad said 

 "Tell him"Papi whispered in my ear only for me to hear obviously as he walked past me.

"Dad..." I call

"Yes sweetheart"? Dad says drying his hands and sitting in the stool in front of me.

"Ummm I have something to tell you...that you might not like...."I trail off

"Mhm okay I'm listening, continue." Dad said sounding interested in what I might say.

"Well remember the exchange boy we were talking about this morning"I say 

"Yea Xavier right? What about him?" Dad asked raising and eyebrow

"Well..umm I like him..." I say quietly but loud enough to hear

"You do?" Dad asked calmly 

"Yea..." I say not sure what his reaction is going to be

"Mmhmm okay and what about him do you like, knowing you just met this boy today?" Dad asked not at all sounding mad

"Well, He is funny, He is obviously cute and He likes dance." I say as I feel myself blushing 

With that dad chuckles "He like dances?" Dad asked

"Yes he does, He isn't gay though." I say trying not to blush

"Okay tell me more?" Dad asked still listening 

"Well his life is like mine in reverse." I say smiling 

"What does that mean?" Dad asked confused

"Well he has 2 moms and he is the oldest and has a younger sister 3 years apart." I say smirking

"Well I can see why you said in reverse now". Dad says chuckling 

"I met his parents Mi amor, They seem very nice and kind, He also seems like a good kid." Papi says coming out of there bedroom

"Well okay than." Dad says smiling 

"Wait what does that mean?" I ask confused 

"That means go for it... we obviously still need to meet his parents like tomorrow but I'm cool with it.. even though you just met him you see to have a lot of reason." Dad says chuckling 

"Seriously?" I ask getting up and hugging dad.

"Yes seriously." Dad say shaking his head and smirking 

With that I squeal making both my parents laugh. 

"Go check on your brother for me." Dad asked stroking my hair.

"Okay" I Say as I go up the stairs and knock on the door.

"Come in" Matthew says 

"Hey. What you doing?" I ask going in his room
