Iris

I wake up earlier than usual. Today is the day I've been waiting for. Today is one of the biggest figure skating competitions for me as I have a chance of making it to an international level.

I rush to the bathroom and get myself ready. I throw on a blue crop top, black cargo pants and a cute white jacket. My manager who is also my sister calls me for breakfast.

"Iris, get down here now!" said Avery. "Coming!" I shouted. I strolled downstairs and there was a variety of food on the table, I was starving.

"Are you prepared for the competition today." asked Avery whilst sipping on some coffee. "Yep more than ever. You know how much I've practiced." I say with a cheerful tone. "If I place in the top 3 then I get the prize money and a chance at international level." I say excitedly.

"Yea I've heard there's quite a few sponsors who are gonna be there." said Avery. "By the way is my outfit ready?" I ask while eating a cookie. "Mhm, and it looks stunning." she says excitedly.

We chat for exactly 24 minutes and we finish eating. Avery starts the car, we gotta go pick up my outfit from the tailor.

"I'm so excited to see what it looks like!" I say eagerly. "Trust me, it's worth the wait." Avery chuckles. We drive for about an hour before we reach the tailors shop.

I excitedly get out of the car holding a cup of cappuccino which I bought at a Starbucks drive-thru on our way here. I start walking towards the entrance of the shop when Avery gets a phone call.

"You go inside, let me take this call and I'll be with you, alright?" said Avery. I nod in agreement and walk into the shop. I admired all the beautiful garments.

I made my way to the front desk while admiring everything as I bumped into something firm. "What the f*ck!" shouted a man as my cappuccino spilled all over his new suit.

"I am so sorry, sir," I say respectfully. "I just bought this," the man said with a cold, deep voice. The man had black hair, hazel eyes, and a perfect face. This guy looks filthy rich.

"Ugh whatever," the man said coldly as he turned and walked the opposite way. "That went well. I mean it could've been worse right?" I thought to myself.

"What did you do now?" Avery sighed. "Oh nothing just spilled a bit of my cappuccino onto a random stranger." I say sounding innocent. "Iris, I swear to God you're gonna get yourself in big trouble one day." said Avery.
