I can't believe I gave her my coat. Why did I do that? I swear she better return it. Today, we're going somewhere together. Again.

I'm not sure where though. I'll decide on my way. I drive slowly as it's still raining, fairly heavy. Today is definitely not the day to get into a car crash.

It takes me an hour and a half to reach Iris' house. I take my umbrella, use it to cover my head. I knock on the door firmly. Luckily Iris opens it.

"Hey, Rhys," she says while smiling at me warmly. "Hi," I reply. "You wanna come in or?" she asks. "No, let's just go," I say. Iris nods and exits the front door and locks it.

Today she carried a small backpack with her. She was wearing boots, a black top, black pants and a white sweater. It started to rain a little heavier.

"So where are we going?" Iris asks. I shrug. "Can I choose?" she asks smiling. "No," I reply. "Alright," she says. She didn't even protest with me.

I sigh. "Ugh, fine you can choose but not anywhere ridiculous please," I say with an irritated voice. "Thank you," she says as she reaches from the passenger seat and hugs me. I'm blushing.

I turn away and she stops hugging me. She puts the destination onto to GPS and I begin to drive. It's still raining. I'm not too familiar on our destination.

35 minutes later we reach... An ice rink? It wasn't one of those rinks used for competitions, just an ordinary one for people to experience ice skating.

Iris is beaming with excitement. "Why an ice rink, moonlight?" I sigh. "Um you should know that I love ice skating," she says arrogantly. "No shit Sherlock," I reply.
"Anyways... Let's go insideee," she smiles.

I reluctantly go inside with her. "So I brought my own skates, but you gotta get your own," she says while getting her skates out of her backpack. "I'm not skating with you," I tell her coldly but this time it's a bit more gentle.

"Oh come on, even fake dates have to have both people doing things," she shrugs. "No," I say coldly. "Hmph, fine," she says in a sad tone. I ignore her frown and watch her put her skates on.

She puts them on, and walks close to the ice. I watch as a man approaches her. "Hello!" he says. "Oh, hey," Iris replies. "Would you like to skate with me, I'm all alone here," he offers.

"Oh uhm sure," says Iris reluctantly. The man holds her hand. She looks oddly uncomfortable. I find myself walking up to them. I wrap my arm around Iris's waist and pull her close to my chest.

"Touch her one more time and I swear to god I will-" Iris cuts me off. "Rhys, calm down." I slowly exhale. "She's with me so piss off," I tell the man coldly. He leaves out of fear.

"Rhys..." Iris says. "Shut up," I say. "Aww someone's getting overprotective over me," she teases. "I'm not!" I snap coldly.

Iris stays quiet. I sigh. "I'll skate with you, moonlight." She's smiling. So genuinely.
