I am going to admit that if you are going to watch this for the plot, DON'T, it's a straight-up brain rot BUT if you want to watch for lesbianism, you don't want to miss this one out. Supportive lesbian aunts and silly awkward sapphic teenagers going on dates while searching for a serial killer? Hell yeah.

As I said it's not really a mystery but more of a slasher, even the little bit of mystery they had tried I figured it out immediately. Some of the dialogues are so bad it made me laugh. But oh to be the queer teenager who literally wished herself into another universe because her dad gave her a pink lesbian suit. At least she got a girlfriend out of it.

Winnie and Bernie were adorable and I like the trope of weirdo loser and kinda popular girl ending up together. So despite the absolute dogshit of a plot, we got a Christmas slasher where the gays are not only the main character but also alive and happy. I would say that's a win.
