CHAPTER XXX

THURSDAY
THE FOUR OF US SAT ON THE ROOFTOP DURING BREAK, and there was still no sign or interaction with (2).
There was a bit of tension but we got over it through simple conversation.
"We have art after break." (1) smiled at me.
"I think I have history." Geto groaned.
"I take history with you." Shoko also sounded frustrated.
"What are you doing after school?" (1) asked me.
"I think I'll just be out with Geto, and you?" I looked at them with a smile.
"I don't have anything planned...why don't we all go out?" (1) offered.
Geto and I nodded in excitement while Shoko looked a bit sad.
"I have to do an interview after school." she frowned.
"It's okay Shoko, I'll come over tomorrow." (1) smiled widely.

(1) and I sat in art class trying to fix some one of our assignments.
"So...you and Geto?" they teased me.
"You're the first person who found out." I chuckled as I used my eraser.
"Surprised, it's a bit obvious if you think about it." they shook their head.
"I really like him, I think that's why you think I've changed."
"But it's a good change, I like this version of you. I don't feel like I'm talking to cardboard anymore."
"I'm glad you think of it that way, I just wish (2) could see it the same way." I sighed sadly.
"(2) will show up again, maybe they need time," they reassured me.
"I hope so, I'm happy with him."
"How long have you guys been together?"
"Not long at all, but it felt like it has."
"When did you guys get together."
"We aren't dating, but we hooked up at that party we all went to."
(1) looked shocked and couldn't believe what I said.
"Crazy huh?"
"I can't believe it really." they laughed.

All three of us walked around the Central Park aimlessly.
"Can I scare the kids off the swings?" Geto snickered.
"Don't do that!" I tried to stop him but he ran towards the kids' playground and terrorised the children and came back rather quickly.
"Run before their moms hunt me down." he laughed and pushed us to the other side of the park.
"Do you guys want something to eat?" Geto asked us.
We both nodded in unison and walked towards one of the food vendors and picked something out.
The three of us sat on the benches, Geto and I held hands while we ate and (1) thought it was very cute.
"Thanks for letting me come with guys." (1) said.
"Don't thank us, it's nice having you around." Geto smiled at them.
"What do you guys do about the fan girls?" (1) mentioned.
"They haven't really made any big moves since we called them out for their shit." Geto and I snickered.
"Serves them right."
"Monkeys, all of them." Geto joked.
I WONDER WHEN GETO
AND I WILL START DATING.
