Katy and Anastasia jump in with Nathan, Julius, and Jenna at the pool. They all splash around, play chicken fight, and chill on pool floats, soaking in the sunset vibes together their summer was off to a great.

Katy: You all remember the promise we made back in 5th grade, right?
Anastasia: Kind of, wasn't it something about until dusk?
Julius: Oh, you're talking about 'til death do us part?
Anastasia, with a faraway look in her eyes: I do.
Julius: What was that?
Anastasia: Huh? Oh, I just meant, yes, that's the name of the pact.
Nathan and Katy exchange knowing glances, aware of Anastasia's crush on Julius.
Julius : Okayyy
Mrs. Williams: Alright, everyone, out of the pool, dinner's ready!
Katy and the rest topple off their floats, caught off guard by her mom's sudden appearance—they hadn't noticed her. They all climb out and head off to get ready for dinner.
Nathan: Whoa, Mom, how about a heads-up next time?
Julius, chuckling: Seriously, you nearly scared the life out of me.
Mrs. Williams: Alright, alright, enough chatter. Head over to the dining table, let's eat.
Everyone is gathered around the dining table, with Mrs. Williams sitting by Mr. Williams, Sade next to Jenna, Katy beside Anastasia, and Nathan and Julius side by side.
Mrs. Williams: So, how was the swimming, everyone?
Nathan: Amazing, it couldn't have been better.
Katy: Definitely nice, just what we needed.
Anastasia: Absolutely, worth repeating.
Julius, with a mouthful of food: Mmm-hmm.
Jenna: It was really fun, thanks for having me.
Katy: Anytime, it was great to have you with us!
Mrs. Williams: That's what I like to hear!
Mr. Williams: Would you like some wine, dear?
Mrs. Williams: Oh, yes, definitely. Would you like some, Sade?
Sade: Oh, yes, please. Just a little.
Mr. Williams gets up to fetch the wine from the cellar and returns with three glasses, then dinner resumes.
Nathan, jokingly: Can I have some too?
Mrs. Williams: In your dreams! You're only 18.
Nathan: Haha, I'm practically an adult!
Mrs. Williams: Want to pay a bill then?
Nathan, laughing: You got me there, Mom.
Everyone laughs and continues eating. After dinner, they all pitch in to clean up, and Mrs. Williams walks Sade and Jenna to their car, reminding them to drive safely.
Sade: Thanks for the meal, Mrs. Williams, and for including Jenna.
Mrs. Williams: Of course, it was wonderful meeting you both. Take care on the road!
Jenna: Thanks a lot! See you, Mrs. Williams.
Inside, Katy, Anastasia, Nathan, and Julius settle in the living room to pick out a movie. Mrs. Williams and Mr. Williams finish locking up for the night and announce they're heading to bed.
Mrs. Williams: Alright, we're off to bed, everyone.
Mr. Williams: Yes, and I've set the alarm for the night.
Nathan: Okay, good night, Mom.
Julius: Night, Mrs. Williams, and thanks for the meal.
Mrs. Williams: You're welcome, Julius. Good night, you all.
Nathan: Yo, just got an Insta alert about a bonfire happening tonight! We should totally check it out!
Julius: Yeah, I'm down for that.
Katy: You two have fun; we're pretty wiped out and gonna stay in.
Nathan: Alright, get some sleep then, little sis. C'mon, Julius, let's go get ready.
Julius: Cool, let's do it.
Nathan and Julius switch into their party clothes and call an Uber to the bonfire. On the ride, Julius spots on his Insta story that Taylor will be there.
Julius: Yo, Taylor's gonna be there! I'm gonna take my shot.
Nathan: Dude, she's trouble.
Julius: Since when do you know what's best for me?
Nathan: Just don't want you getting hurt over a girl, that's all.
Julius: Chill, I've got it under control.
Nathan: Here we are.
Julius: Awesome, let's live it up!
They exit the Uber and head to the bonfire, where a crowd of their schoolmates is already enjoying the music, drinks, smokes, and the company of others—just the scene Nathan and Julius love.
Nathan: Dude, this party is lit!
Julius: Yeah, man! Look, there's Taylor. Catch you later!
Nathan: Alright, bro. I'm gonna grab a drink.
Julius: Just don't get too messed up, alright?
Nathan: Haha, no promises!
Julius confidently walks up to Taylor and her crew.
Julius: What's up, Taylor?
Taylor, acting bougie: Hey, Justin.
Julius: Haha, real funny, girl. You know my name's Julius.
Taylor: Yeah, I know. I like to tease.
Julius: Oh, really? Can I steal you away from your crew real quick?
