Avengers - 7

Bruce's skin was slowly turning green as he writhed on the floor, seemingly in pain.

James heard another grunt causing him to turn and see Natasha trying to get free from
the metal beam that was weighing her down, however Bruce was his priority.

He quickly moved his way to Bruce, quickly letting Benjamin take over knowing he was the best at calming his brother.

Benjamin gently put his hand on Bruce’s back and the other in his hair, whispering soothing words, hoping to calm him down. It seemed to work for a moment as Bruce’s muscles relaxed slightly only for him to wince in more pain.

Natasha let out a few pain filled groans, raising her hand to her ear piece saying into it, "We're okay,"

She then looked to the two brothers in both fear and concern,"We're okay, right?" Natasha asked, more to herself, trying to make some kind of eye contact with Benjamin who kept his gaze to hi brother

“Brucie, we’re okay. Try to fight it alright,” Benjamin murmured, keeping his hands soothingly on his brother,”No one’s hurt, I’m not hurt. I promise,” he told him, knowing most of his brother’s anger and frustration was coming from the possibility of him being hurt

He could tell it was working as Bruce deflated again, his muscles relaxing as a soft sigh blew through his lips

"Docto-?" Natasha tries hesitantly, with a hint of fear which she tried to hide, though Bruce just responds by groaning loudly and muscles tensing again

“She’s making it worse,” James muttered, getting more annoyed by the second

“She’s only trying to help,” Issac told him, causing Benjamin to sigh himself

“They fight a lot don’t they?” Clint questioned aloud

“More than you think,” Bruce answered, chuckling as he thought of countless times the two argued

“Please refrain from bickering again, this is not the time,” Millie stepped in before Benjamin could

“I know it’s hard to think right now, Brucie, but I need you to try your best,” Benjamin whispered,  as Bruce sits up on his hands-on knees, his head hanging low,”You’ve fought it before, just do it again this once, okay?”

"This is just what Loki wants. We're going to be okay. Listen to me." Natasha almost starts to plead as she notices that Benjamin's attempts of calming him were starting to fail

Her voice seemed to rile Bruce up even more as he tensed again under Benjamin’s touch, it was obvious she was making everything worse.

“Can’t she see she’s not helping?” James muttered harshly

“She’s just scared,” Benjamin sighed, then quickly going back to whispering soothing words to his brother

The younger Banner heard fast footsteps approaching. Looking up, he saw two workers head towards them asking them if they were hurt. However, the assassin gestured
for them to leave, which they did very quickly once they noticed the squirming man on the floor.

Turning back to Bruce, she continued to tell him,"We're going to be okay, alright? I swear on my life, I will get you out of this. You will walk away and never ever..."

In a monstrous voice, almost hulked, Bruce shouted, "Your life?!" As he yelled this, he spun around to face Natasha,knocking his brother on his back side.
