Ditch Day

It was morning, as Barb was making breakfast and the waffles popped out of the toaster.

Barb: Your waffles are ready, honey.

She then sneezes on the waffles.

Hank: You know what, I'll just have a banana.

Hank grabs a banana.

Barb: Come on. It's still good.

She sneezes once again.

Y/N: You okay, Barb?

Barb: I think I'm coming down with a cold.

Phoebe then comes in.

Phoebe: Morning, guys.

A fart noise is then heard.

Max: Phoebe!

Phoebe: That wasn't me.

Another farts noise is heard.

Max: Okay, now you're just gross.

Phoebe: I told you it wasn't- Max, did you change my ring tone?

She pulls out her cell phone and it plays a fart sound.

Max: I upgraded your smartphone to a fartphone. You can thank me later.

Phoebe: How about I thank you now?

Phoebe uses her telekinesis to hit Max with Hank's banana.

Hank: Why must you people ruin my breakfast?

Barb sees Phoebe on her phone.

Barb: Honey, who's texting you this early?

Phoebe: It's Cherry. She's reminded me and Y/N about ditch day.

Hank: Oh, I loved ditch day. Skipping school, having fun...

Barb clears her throat.

Hank: And then hours of regret, realizing I missed an entire day of learning.

Y/N: Don't worry. We're not gonna let ditch day ruin our lifetime of perfect attendance.

Max then coughs.

Max: Nerd. Sorry, coughed during that. You're a nerd.

Phoebe: Tell us that when we're at Hero University, and you're still living in our parents' basement, talking to rabbits.

Barb: Max, you're not planning on ditching school, are you? -

Y/N does a fake cough while he speaks.

Y/N: He is. Sorry, I coughed during that. He is. A bunch of kids are going skateboarding.

Max: And I'm not gonna be a part of that. Not this guy, no way.

Barb: Do we believe him?

Hank: I choose to. It makes life easier.

Barb then sneezes again.

Hank: All right, let's get you to bed, before you ruin lunch.

barb: Mm-hmm.

Barb and Hank walk away leaving Phoebe, Y/N and Max together.

Phoebe: Really? You're going to school on ditch day?

Max: Yeah, right after I paint the house. See ya, nerd.

Phoebe: Have fun ice skating.

Max: I'm skateboarding.

Phoebe: Not anymore.
