paige listened to every song on her ex-girlfriend's second album what seemed like a hundred times — especially the ones that were specifically written about her, she analyzed every word that the brunette sang, and took them into her broken heart, only wanting to tell the girl how much she loved her, and that she was so sorry of everything that happened.
The blonde pulled the red hoodie over her head, as she walked through the gloomy streets of New York City as the summer rain aggressively poured, but the humidity made it nearly impossible to keep the hoodie on her body.
She knocked on the front door of the apartment, it was nearly Deja Vu, being in this same situation once before. "Kendall, don't speak, I'm talking this time, and you don't have any say." She explained, watching as the short brunette had just opened the glass front door of the townhome.
"I am so fucking sorry, I really do love you, Kendall, you didn't deserve everything that I have put you through, all of the cheating, lying, and any of that other shit. I'm sorry you had to deal with that, I should've changed sooner, and I know you have been thinking the same time, I love you Kendall Elizabeth, just please give us another chance, I will do anything to prove to you that I've changed." She explained, running her large hands through her now wet blonde hair, as the look on the brunette girl in front of her was unexplainable.
Kendall didn't even know what to say to the basketball player, she was completely speechless, staring at her ex-girlfriend with a look of pure disbelief in her light green eyes. "Paige-." She began to speak but was quickly cut off by the tall blonde gently grabbing her tanned face, her thumbs gently rubbing her jawline, staring into her icy blue eyes that hovered above her face.
"I literally just said, don't speak, it's my turn," Paige whispered, bending her tall frame down, as she gently attached her soft pink lips to the shorter brunette girl that was below her, placing a soft and passionate kiss onto her ex-girlfriend's lipgloss covered lips.
Paige expected Kendall to pull away from the blissful kiss, but she didn't, surprisingly the singer moved her tattooed hands to her waist, as she pulled her closer, deepening the passionate kiss from the blonde that she had been craving for weeks.
They had held that kiss for a few more seconds, finally pulling apart as they stared at each other with a look of passion, and happiness. "I still love you," Kendall whispered, moving her tattooed hands from the blonde girl's waist to wrapping them around her stomach, grabbing her into a large, and much-needed hug.
"I love you more."
In that much-needed moment, it was just the two girls, as they stood together in the summer rain — their heartbeats colliding with one another, and their breathing matched, standing there holding one another for the first time in weeks.
Maybe, just maybe, this time would be different?
