"i want candy. but what if i eat too much and turn into like a candy monster or something."

"i think you've had too much sugar." he laughs at her with a blinding smile.  she shook her head in disagreement. "i think i need  a bit more sugar,
maybe some coffee."

they slept on the bench for almost seven hours until children came. but they had been walking around for a bit with the scent of vanilla filling the air.

the sun was creating a cotton candy effect on the sky and she looked at it with admiration as she got one step closer to home.

"have you ever been happy, jhope?"

"i have thanks to my mom. she's always been there for me to be my best friend." he held a close
bond with his mother, never would he trade or replace her. "have you, ara?" she sighed lightly with a laugh. "i was once before i moved. my life was in another city, so when i left it felt like i left my life behind. but as of now i think i'm happy again."

"thanks for walking me home" he shrugged showing it didn't matter and she bowed a farewell and starting walking up the stairs.

on reflex that he can blame later, he ran up the steps that she had made her way over, and only on reflex he told himself, he back hugged her.

every new thing he did surprised her.
she froze but she mentally screamed at the same time.
his head was placed on her shoulder so softly,
even he couldn't process what he was doing himself.

so they stood there for nearly five minutes, in the same frozen state.

"i'm your hope,  and i'm your hoseok."

he confirmed as she calmed down. "please stay happy, place don't be sad." he said before letting go
and walking away.

now there she stood, frozen, alone in the
same position.
