Chapter 12

I woke up, my eyes groggy as I stare up at my white ceiling, hmmm what to do... I know! I jump out of my bed and into the shower stripping on the way, after I came out and began getting ready I noticed just how skinny I looked, deathly skinny, my skin was a pale sheet and my eyes had dark rings under them,

"Man I look more and more like L each day," I mutter to myself, I pulled my black skinny jeans, doing my skinny jeans dance, anyone with skinny jeans will understand, and shoved on a white t-shirt, looking in my mirror, I decided not to, the reason being I was wearing my favourite dark blue and purple bra and a white t-shirt... they didn't quite match... I yanked on a black t-shirt instead and pulled my leather trench coat on and went to my front door. Just as I was reaching for my shoes I fell face first onto my floor, literally face planting, it was not fun. After recovering I slipped on my black leather boots. Locking my door, I started walking aimlessly, and then brought my phone out, using the number that I had saved onto it. It rang two times until someone answered,

"This is Taro Matsui, who's calling?" my eyebrows rise at his obvious alias,

"Hello Matsui, it's very nice to meet you, can you pass me onto Ryuuzaki please." I smirked into the phone, imagining his reaction. Matsuda mumbles slightly then replies with,

"Who are you, and who this Ryuuzaki?" he did sound rather confused, but that was probably because he didn't know how I could possibly know about them,

"ahhh, my bad I forgot to introduce myself, tell Ryuuzaki that Marcy is calling for him." I heard mumbling and a shuffling then I heard a familiar voice,

"Hello Marcy, I wasn't expecting for you to call, may I ask how you have this number and how you knew I was going to be with Matsui at this point of time?" I giggled slightly, waiting at a bus stop a few blocks from my house,

"We should meet, it will be easier to explain." He ended the call, then my phone buzzed, from a text, I looked at it seeing an address of a cafe, I smiled oh L your are always very careful, I catch a bus to the cafe, only to find out that it's the same cafe that L and Light sat in before Mr. Yagami had a heart attack, well... L 's going to test me, fine let's get my brain working... well let's get the ear piece working. As I walk in I spot a black ball of hair, smiling I start to walk over. I tap him on the shoulder and he indicates for me to sit down. When I sit a waiter came over,

"Here is a menu, I'll be back in a couple of minutes to take your order." I smiled politely looking over at L to see him with nothing in front of him, opening the menu looking for two things in particular... Yes~! They have them, the woman comes back,

"Are you ready to order?"

"Yes thank you, I would like two teas, a pot of sugar, a jar of jam and three double chocolate cookies, thank you" the waitress nods, not even fazed by the order,

"Yes ma'am, I'll be back soon with your order," she takes the Menu and walks away, I look back at L, I got the jam just in case I'm being tricked and for some reason BB is here instead of L.

After a couple of minutes the lady comes back with my order, she leaves and I push the jam, tea and pot of sugar towards the man that sits in front of me. He stared at all the objects, then looked at me, pushing the jam back towards me and poured the sugar into the tea, I smirked.

"Marcy, I have a small challenge for you," I smile at this hoping it to be a good one, maybe like the one he gave Light, he brought out three pictures from under the table, or maybe the exact same challenge as Light, I stare at the pictures, letting a knowing face cross my features which I know L noticed, but I continued to observe the picture. After about five minutes I looked at L and asked him one question,

"Are these defiantly all the pictures?" He stared at me, and then brought out the fake one, I nodded and took it from his grasp, laying them in order, and I say

"With four notes the sentence says 'L do you know love apples Shinigami have red hands,' but seeing how you gave these three first, proves that this note is a fake, the challenge was a test and looking at the numbers the sentence would be laid out as 'L do you know love apples Shinigami', but seeing how Kira unfortunately is incredibly intelligent the sentence is more likely 'L do you know Shinigami love apples'." I stare at him waiting for an answer. He stares back

"Marcy, you are very intelligent as well, seeing how you just dismembered each bit of the test that was made for you, I think I would be a good idea if you joined the task force, it's also better if you stopped calling matsui when you get bored." I role my eyes and smirk,

"well I had nothing better to do, and I didn't have your number," I could just tell that his invisible eyebrow was raised at that moment, giggling and nod, then hand him my number, just text me each time you're moving hotels," he looks at me and I can basically see the percentage of me being Kira raise, oh well I know I'm not Kira and I'm determined to catch him, to catch Light, I will create an intricate web that he will forever be lost in, he will be the wingless butterfly with no escape. (AN: whoever understands that i give you the highest of fives*)

"Well Marcy, I'm already headed to the hotel so you may ride with me," I nod my head, getting the bill and paying for it with my infinite amount of money. L leads and I follow him, Watari opened the door for both me and L, he smiles at me and I grin widely at him. We get in and Watari closes the door and gets in the car, driving to the hotel.

When we get there I know it's going to be interesting I wonder if Lights going to be there, I can't remember what part we are at yet, have they met misa, hmmm I don't have a T.V. so I wouldn't know about the tapes, they must have met misa already, they had gone to the university, or maybe me coming here has changed something, I really hope so...
