Well that flaming tailed Molotov cocktail I mentioned yesterday has arrived; courtesy of the European Court. They've ruled the UK can unilaterally decide to suspend or revoke its Article 50 declaration should it so choose, without requiring the approval of the other EU states.
It seems obvious what will happen now; once May's 'deal' is defeated the panicking parliamentarians will collectively swim for the life raft dropped so temptingly close to them by suspending or delaying Brexit. There will be a collective sigh of relief from the chattering classes, until they realise what they've done is effectively disenfranchise the 17.4 million people who voted to leave.
This judgement has been a metaphorical petrol bomb, but it won't be long before the real ones begin to arc their way over the riot torn streets.
