The next morning, I walked into the shop and saw a boy sitting in the booth by the door. The same boy that was serving Pirelli.

"Hello young man, care for a pie?"

"No ma'am. I'm looking for my master, I haven't seen him in a couple days, he was here last I heard."

"He was here but he left, haven't seen him since."

Mr. Todd walked in from the shop.

"Care for a shave young man?"

"No he's too young, too young I tell you."

I didn't want him to slit that boy's throat! I whispered in his ear.

"You have a child of your own, don't even think about it."

He nodded. Mrs. Lovett walked in.

"Good morning."

"Morning Mrs. Lovett," me and Mr. Todd said.

"Hi Mum,"  the boy said.

"Hi Toby."

Hold on...son?

"Mrs. Lovett, he's your son?"

"Yeah, he is."

Toby stood up and removed his blonde wig revealing short brown hair.

"You never told me you had a son."

"I didn't? I thought I did."

"No not at all. First time I saw him was at the fraud piss show."

Toby bowed his head down.

"I'm sorry."

"What for darling?" I asked.

"For being involved, I was being payed to help Mum by serving Signor Pirelli."

"You did what you had to, to contribute."

"You can still contribute Toby, help me in the shop."

"But you barely have costumers."

"That's just about to change."

"How?"

A reopening!

As the beggar was being kicked out for the second time, I felt sorry for her. After closing, I decided to give her a leftover meat pie.

"Mrs. Lovett, one pie please?"

"For you?"

"No, for her, I'll pay."

I pointed to the beggar.

"Savannah-"

"I said I'll pay."

She gave me a pie and I gave her the money. I walked out and to her.

"Excuse me ma'am."

"You're from the shop."

"Yes, I have a pie for you, you must be starved. Compliments of Savannah Turpin."

She looked up at me and smiled.

"Ah, you're grown up."

"You know me?"

"All of London knows, you're Judge Turpin's daughter."

"My apologies for asking."

"You're forgiven, thank you for the meat pie Miss."

I nodded and walked back in the shop.

"Nice gesture Savannah," Mr. Todd said as I sat by him and drank my gin.

"Being a good daughter of a judge...like I always have been."
