Chloe's POV
The first thing I did when I woke up was send a leave letter to the office. I was nervous even while typing that letter. I just hate the fact that everything that involves him becomes a major reason for my uneasiness. It makes me feel, I'm making him a very important part of my personal life, when I simply shouldn't.

I looked at the clock and it was almost nine in the morning, but I decided to go back to sleep for a little longer. The bed was cozy and too alluring to leave. It was soon after feeling the softness of my bed, I fell asleep. I wish I could just sleep and not work at all. What a blissful life it would be.

Obviously, if I am not working any day, my major priority is Claire. And knowing how much of a maniac she is, she already had planned things for us to do all day. I knew it would be a tiring day so I kept laying in bed trying to get more energy to hangout with her.

As for Claire, then I have no idea what drugs she's always on but she just never gets tired. She can hangout with me all day till the first morning light and she can attend a full occasion the following day, actively participating in all activities. Whereas, I usually sleep for hours after hanging out with her.

Although we have decided to go shopping, I need to buy some new things for myself as well as for my home. It was not too long after I fell asleep when Claire showed up and made me get out of bed. After some time I got dressed up and now we were ready for the day.

"Where are we going?" I asked as I sipped my cold coffee.

"First, shopping, then I was thinking of getting our nails done and maybe a movie after that? I'm not sure about the movie. Do you have any in mind?" She asked, while her eyes were fixed on the road and her hands on the steering wheel.

"Can we go to that restaurant? You remember the one which had really good fried chicken? I don't know the name." I said, trying to recall the place in my head.

"Huh? Chloe, we've had good fried chicken at many restaurants. I don't remember which one you're talking about?" She said, shaking her head.

"Ugh! It's umm, I don't remember properly but it's a really beautiful place." I said, as I furrowed my eyebrows.

"Wow, that's a useful hint, because restaurants are hideous looking, but this one, however, is different. Right?" She said, raising her eyebrows, acting astonished.

"I- can you please not? I'm trying hard to remember, okay?" I said, shaking my head and she laughed.

"Well, we can search up the restaurant later, as for today, what about this one? Click on the last searched one." She said, handing me her phone.

I scrolled through the pictures. The place looked good and so did the food. "Hmm, this place looks good. Where did you find this?" I asked her, sipping on the coffee.

"This restaurant is soon partnering up with dad's firm so they invited him for a little dinner. But dad can't go so he asked me to attend." She said, smirking.

"Woah! That's cool. So, like we have to rate the place and the food?" I asked, getting excited.

"Not exactly, because the deal is almost fixed. But yes, if we don't find it impressive enough or think the place needs some improvement of some sort, they would have to consider it. Although dad said the place is really pretty. So, I'm almost positive about it." She said, shrugging her shoulders.

"I'm hoping the same." I said and smiled.

The whole day went as planned. We went in for a manicure and pedicure, getting our nails done. I also bought a few dresses and a Buddha statue for my house. I always wanted one ever since I started reading about them. It's just so peaceful and positive.
